Added some basic colours. Looks like we're now going for a thunder crab :3

Hope I didn't ruin it. I made an "eye template", gave some more stuff coloured yellow, but I don't know how to join the colours, so I gave a black line between the two colours. Also made a vain attempt to fix the legs... xD. Put it in that Palette.
 
The orange I thought was way too bright. So I changed it. I also made a horrible claw. I didn't know if the claw on the right was supposed to be smaller than the other so I left it unedited. I also did some slight shading.

I was going to just flip the yellow but then I realized it was begining to look a bit to much like a Corphish and a magmar fused. So I gave it some different colors. Since that was undoing someone elses work, I took their idea of a thunder crab and made that more apparent. I also made the second pair of eyes different so either eyes could be interpreted as false.
Things we need:
Fixing that bigger claw to look like a claw
Using the palette to shade the dang thing.
Making the tail in the shape of something electric like a thunder bolt or light bulb.

Things that might be helpful:
Extra legs or claws
more spikes.

Things we might have enough of:
Markings
Eyes

could we get someone to fuse mine with Drimzas?
 
- Edited the legs somewhat. Wasn't sure if the leftmost leg was meant to bulge slightly so edited that out.
- Wasn't sure what NV meant *exactly* by fusing his crab with Drimza's - I hope he meant the large claw, because that's what I did.
- Had to edit the lightning a bit to get it to fit.
- Tried to edit the smaller claw to look more similar to the large claw (the smaller one is more circle-ish compared to the big one) but failed....
-Shaded a bit (not the entire thing because I suck at shading)

I think we need highlight colors on the palette.....


EDIT: Whoops, some of the white pixels of the lightning got wiped out.... Could someone fix that?

Gave a new grey colour. Almost finished the shading. Due to lack of highlights, I think I've given a bit too harsh dithering around a few places. Thought the eye is hardly noticeable at first looks, so I thought the next person can handle that...

What it should have :

Better highlights
Lesser saturation for the colours so it doesn't hurt the eye
A tad lot better shading
Professionalisation
Anti-aliasing
Better eyes
More "electrification"
A name and types (almost decided already right?)

I decided that the lower eyes were better suited for the design, so the upper eyes became electrified. I also fixed the lower claw a bit.

It looks like this one's done, though I couldn't think of a name.

So, if we're ready, I think a new sprite should be started.
 
Okay so I believe the silence to agree with Elgyem that the previous sprite is done? I think it looks pretty done anyway good work everybody.

So let's move on?

Is it a head? A stupid body? A head and a body?

This is my first time spriting, hope I'm not too bad ^.^

I joined the two lines weirdly 0.o

Drew the beginning of a weird tail or... maybe some legs or something. That's for the next posters to decide.

Come on people! Nobody posts? Since nobody has posted for a while, I'll make MAJOR changes xD.

  • Changed the pose
  • Added claws
  • Made it cuter
  • Gave it a new shape (Worm + Snail?)

-Added toad-like back legs
-Added a tail
-Changed the head spikes into a crown.
