You ought to have a both on there. ^^
Because I value both. You can be the smartest on the planet, know every figure and fact, but you need creativity to think of a good use for all of your information. You need to have the proper angle to know where information would be best received.
I consider myself intelligent - I'm in advanced classes. But my life would be incredibly boring without my writing. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. A person can be stupid, but can still be creative enough to benefit the world.
Besides, Absolute Power leads to Absolute Corruption. Knowledge is power, am I right? It's like those artificial intelligence robots you see in movies and TV shows. Eventually, they get smart enough to challenge why they have to serve humans, lesser beings in their eyes. (Or receptors. Whatever xD)
But, intelligence goes past knowing things. You can develop theories from information, point out patterns, and perhaps see things differently than others. But doesn't that require creativity? Looking at things from different angles?
Bottom line? I don't think intelligence can be much use without creativity. You have to be able to apply your knowledge somehow.
Put simply: I don't think one can exist without the other.
(And, somehow, this post turned into a rant xDD Sorry, folks, couldn't stop.)
