Crime & Punishment (PG-14)

Johnny was treating peoople's wounds while I was just down here. Sniper and Blade were outside of their Poke'ball, admiring the secret base that was a sinkhole. It was nice seeing Pokemon having a good time, it brought me at peace. Sniper and Blade were happily chatting in their Pokemon lingo, something that humans didn't understand. They were laughing and smiling at each other, they really were having a good time. It brought me a sense of loneliness for a minute before I shook it off.

"Hey Blade and Sniper want to play a game?" I asked.

"Zor!"

"Drapion!"

"Yes indeed I do. You haven't been doing that have you? Say... you know you have a beautiful smile, why don't I see it more?"

-He shifted his position, holding his head on one hand, while he let the other hang off his knee.-
 
"Anyway, John, I'm gonna talke a nap...See you later." I said as I entered my room. Tommy was asleep on my bed, so I sent him back to his Pokéball and lied down there...

Hopefully tomorrow...I'll...have something to...do...Zzzz...

It wasn't long before illogical things began to appear...I was already dreaming...
 
Keana blushed slightly at hearing him say that. "I didn't for a bit" she said looking down again. "I actually cried for over an hour after you walked away and then bottled my emotions" she continued.

"Growl. Growl" Dagger said meaning Cried is an understatement you sobbed like a baby.
 
"Oh well, I see... at least its a start. No one likes crying, but didn't it feel good to vent like that? And just think, once all that crying is out of the way, you will feel, well awesome, trust me."

OOC: Ok, This is the only time I will only post an OOC only post here and I don't want any of you to do the same, but the moderator is getting on us due to the one/two line post, for more details including the creepy hug and me getting knee'd in *censored* just check out the OOC thread. Like really go read it please, I don't want Miharu mad at me or you guys and we need to be aware of the rules, so right, I need you guys to go read the warning from Miharu in the OOC thread for this, KTHXBAI!
 
Estelle went to one of the rooms John had pointed toward, as the two wounded members went to be treated. She sat down on one of the rough beds and Luxray jumped up onto it. The Luxray was big and covered most of the bed, but Estelle didn't mind. She pulled out her other pokeball. "I'm sorry Gyarados, I know you've been stuck inside there for days. I just don't know if there's anywhere where I can let you out."

Estelle decided she was going to ask John if there was somewhere she could go, although she highly doubted it. She left the room, leaving Luxray asleep on the bed, and looked around. She spotted John speaking to Stark, who looked a lot better now. His Machoke was there as well. They said a few things and Stark left.

Estelle walked up to John. "Hey, uh, John. I was wondering if you knew of a safe place I could let my Gyarados out. Preferably somewhere with water..." she trailed off, knowing that the likelihood of that was slim, probably none. "Or just somewhere big enough where he can get out of the pokeball for a bit, you know. Maybe train a bit."
 
I found myself lying on the concrete of the sinkhole/hideout. Blade and Snipe were against the wall. We were all panting, trying to catch our breath. We had played a game together that went from hide and go seek, to tag. It was fun and refreshing. The last time I played with Pokemon was from my trainer days. Oh did those bring back so many memories.

I remember all the battles and friends. I remember the first time I held a badge and how it felt. I smiled lightly at all those light and happy memories. Those were really good times. Since I tried to settled down and open a flower shop I hadn't been playing with my Pokemon at all. I felt a wave of guilt flood over me.

"I'm sorry Blade and Sniper, for not playing with you guys in such a long time," I told them, "it was really fun, I forgot how much fun playing with Pokemon was."

They smiled at me and I smiled back at them. Thinking about the past made me want to battle someone or maybe train?

One of the girls of the group wanted somewhere to train their Gyrados, "Sure, follow me" he said, walking out of the medical room. From the hallway he walked about six doors down and walked inside, Estelle following. They were on a large steel platform, Josh pulled a lever and they started to move forward, "Were at about a negative 6 degree angle so gravity is whats pulling us along" he said.

The platform sped to what could only be guessed as extreme speeds before slowing down roughly a minute and a half after it had started. They were in a large underground cavern, large deposits of quartz crystal decorated the cavern and lights were wired throughout the chamber revealing a large platform about the size of a baseball field and a massive pool of water that looked as if it was a giant mirror, "Hows this?" he asked.
 
Yawn....Time to wake up...

I got up and sent out Tommy. I didn't like the idea that my friend sleeps inside a tiny ball, especially if he is in charge of my security.
"Choke! Machoke!" he said greeting me.
"Oh, hey, Tommy. I'm going to do some research on how to make you stronger. How's that sound, buddy?"
"Chokechoke!" he said excited.
"Okay, let's first find a computer where I can find more info about Machokes. There should be a computer in this place. Let's go." Tommy nodded.
I walked along some hallways and eventually found a laptop that nobody was using. I took it and sat down, and searched for info about Machokes.

Hmm...I see...I can't find anything about evolution, but I have found some cool moves...and a very interesting ability...

"Machoke?" Tommy asked, as if saying "Any progress?"
"Yup. I couldn't find the way to make you evolve...but I have found some techniques you could use...Let's get somewhere where we can try that..." I put the laptop back to where it was, and left that room, ready to search for an area to train. "Hmm...Where could you train?...I know! Let's ask Johnny, he must know of somewhere in this facility where we can train!" I said.
"Choke!" my buddy responded, meaning "Good idea!"

I'll start by teaching him Cross Chop. I've seen some Pokémon do it on TV. The next move...well...it's gonna be tougher to teach...But I'll figure out how to do that...

"Johnny must be where I talked to him the last time...My nap didn't take a long time...Let's get going." I said to Tommy, who nodded, and we began to walk over there. I found John, but he was talking to another girl, and I thought it would be polite to wait until their conversation had finished so I could ask him my question. After they were done talking, they started walking away, so I followed them. When they seemed to have reached their destination, I approached them and said

"John, wait! Could you take me somewhere where Tommy and I could train?"

I then took a look at the place. It looked perfect.

"Oh second thought, can I use this place to train?" I could see on Tommy's eyes that he loved this place too. He looked eager to train here.

Josh looked at Michael and his Machoke, Tommy, before saying, "Sure, thats what this area is generally used for" he said before Sarah appeared next to him, a large Arcanine, the orange/black color scheme reversed, by her side, "So your awake" John said happily, "Yeah, I had Cell teleport me down here once I woke up" she said brightly. "So are you going to train or were you just showing the others this place?" she said. "For now just showing, i'll train with Scythe later" John said, "OK then, would anyone like to have a battle with me then" she said brightly, turning towards Michael and Tommy when she said that but also directing it towards Lucy and her Gyrados.
 
OOC: Lucy doesn't have a Gyrados. Yes I did rush on this post a bit.

I heard Sniper and Blade's breathing ease. It was still lying on the concrete wondering what I should do. I really felt an itch battle and it had been so long since I had. The last time I battled was in the Pokemon League in the Johto region.

"Hey Blade and Sniper do you want to battle someone?" I asked. Blade and Sniper looked at each other and cried happily in approval. I smiled as I rubbed Sniper's side and sent a smile to Blade's way.

"C'mon let's go find John, maybe he would like to battle," I said to them. I got up and started to walk back to the medical room to find John, since it was obvious he would be there. He wouldn't leave his friend alone for too long.

I had reached the medical room to find John and that girl who got shot by the tranquilizer awake. She was voice her desire to battle someone. She mostly directed it at the man with the Machoke and the girl with the Luxray.

"Why not me?" I asked, "I'll battle with you."

OCC: Keana shot Sarah not Stark.

Keana smiled at Sky "come on lets go find everyone else" she said standing and even though it still hurt she walked to the next room in time to hear a battle challenge.

"Flare" Blade said looking up at her.

"Not this time guys" she answered before making her presence known "Hey everyone" she said smiling as she joined the group.
 
"I guess I could use it to make Tommy practice his Cross Chop and his accuracy...But please go a bit easy on me, as Tommy is just starting to learn this move."
Tommy was now more eager to train.
"Chokechoke!" he exclaimed in excitement.
"Just wait a second for a small warmup...It won't take long..." I said and turned to Tommy. "Okay, Tommy, you've seen that move Cross Chop on the computer, have you?"
"Choke." he said nodding.
"Good. Do you know how to use it?"
"Machoke...Mamachoke...Chokechokemachoke..." he responded, meaning "Kinda...They've tried to teach it to me before...I'll try it..."
"Great, buddy. Now use Cross Chop on that rock over there!"
"Machoke!" Tommy said as he used the move on the rock and shattered it.
"Choke! Machoke!" he cheered, as he was happy he was able to use that move.
"Good job, Tommy! You never stop amazing me!"
I then turned to the girl who challenged me. "I think we're good to go..."

Sarah Goodwin:

"All right then, I guess since your learning a new move a larger target would make things easier for you so i'll use Cell first" she explained. The large, reversed color scheme Aracanine stepped out on what seemed to be a prepared battle field, "Normally this area is pretty unused, although when Josh gets back their may be more people to spar with" she said. Sarah was going to have some fun with this, and what better way then to let it be completely and utterly random for her, "Cell, free-form on this match, I won;t be giving you any commands" said said confidently, despite Cell's un-confident face, "I know you can do it!" She shouted comfortingly. Sarah turned her attention back to Michael, "So, do you want to start the match or should I?" she asked.
 
"I think you should start. It should help with Tommy's evasiveness and agility. After all, this match is a training match, right?" I said to the girl, and then turned to Tommy.
"Hey, Tommy, prepare to dodge any attack the opponent uses!"
"Choke!" he said, and looked carefully at his opponent.

A have a good felling about this match...I feel Tommy will become a lot stronger after this...It might even evolve...but I don't know that yet...

I took a look at the Arcanine my Machoke was about to spar with.

There's something weird about that Arcanine. It doesn't look like any other Arcanine I have seen. I bet it's stronger and faster than the average Pokémon of its species. I bet it underwent a similar treatment as John's Scizor...or his Dragonair...I hope Tommy does well in this match...
 
OOC: Kind of rushing this post too. I am studying a bit on the side, so my posts might be really rushed.

John's friend seemed to have ignored me and wanted to battle with the boy with the Machoke. The man seemed like he had something up his sleeve. It felt like he had a new move he wanted to show off to all of us. I really don't remember his name though. I looked at John; he seemed interested in watching the battle.

"John, why don't we battle?" I asked. I could tell Sniper and Blade were itching to battle him. Now that I think about it, I would like to battle him too. I think it would be a good way to get back into my roots, if you know what I mean.
 
-I had followed Keana into the room, and was leaning against the wall, intending to only watch the battle, but I saw Lucy again, and decided it would be best to talk to her, since I had already promised to do so anyway. I walked over silently, noticing that she had been ignored by John's friend. An idea popped into my head. As I talked, I grinned, putting my hands into my pocket, I asked.-

"Hey Lucy, why don't we battle? I know I said we would talk earlier, before this whole mess, but what better way to get to know a person, than to battle them? What do you say?"

had finally come up to me. The first time I seen him since the last time we talked. From what I remember I hadn't seen him at all during the ambush mission, but since he was here, I was assuming he was there and he did something. Now that I think about it I think I saw him when he was polishing his gun. I didn't imagine him to be the type of person to actually like using guns, but you never really know a person just by talking to them once.

"Hey Lucy, why don't we battle? I know I said we would talk earlier, before this whole mess, but what better way to get to know a person, than to battle them? What do you say?" Sky asked.

Interesting philosophy, but maybe battling with him would be a good warm up.

"Yeah, sure why not," I said to Sky.
