UU - SUNNY DAY TEAM!
-OVERVIEW-
So basically I played a sunny day team before, and it seemed alot of fun. And all of a sudden I have a sudden interest with Sunny Day. This team is completely editable, please make any suggestions for subsitutions of moves, EVs, Ability, or even the Pokemon them selves.

-THE TEAM-
Sunny Day Summoners
Jumpluff@ Heat Rock
Ability : Chlorophyll
EV : 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature : Jolly
I needed a starter that could jump in, lay down a SD, do a U-Turn and come back. So naturally I just looked for the fastest pokemon that had Chlorophyll, SD, and U-Turn. The cool thing about Jumpluff is that I can do all these things, and most of the time, put the opponent to sleep too. One of the minuses of Jumpluff is that he is unable to use Stealth Rock, a move that is great to have on any starter.
Arcanine@ Heat Rock
Ability : Intimidate
EV : 240 HP / 168 Def / 28 SpA / 72 Spe
Nature : Timid
This guy will do a good job of walling some physical threats with Intimidate factored in, and is simply a fast pokemon I can use to lay down a SD. Roar is a great move he can use to phaze the pokemon that set up. Flamethrower is my main offensive, and will hurt some typical switch-ins like Miltank. Overall, he is a descent wall to setup a SD, and the 50% boost on his fire attacks are cool too!
Sunny Day Sweepers
Exeggutor@ Expert Belt
Ability : Chrolophyl
EV : 252 Atk / 16 SpA / 240 Spe
Nature : Naive
This is my first sweeper, it comes in on water and ground attacks directed at Arcanine to resist those attacks. Expert Belt is a must because Wood Hammer + Life Orb would carve my life off too much. Its hard to set up Swords Dace, but if I manage it the setup would be quite scary. Wood Hammer has been destructive for me, resisted or not after one SD. Zen Headbutt helps me get flinch at times and handles fighting types, which is somewhat scary to my team when Magmortar is gone...
Victreebell@ Life Orb
Ability : Chlorophyll
EV :120 HP, 252 Atk, 136 Spe
Nature : Adamant
Victreebel got some pretty good moves in Platinum. Swords can double his already great Atk stat and Leaf Blade is a great physical Grass move. He has 420 Speed in the sun, which outspeeds Electrode, and even if there isn't sun, he still has Sucker Punch which does a lot with a Swords Dance if I can get it in. Sleep Powder can help me set up.

Quagsire@Leftovers
Ability : Water Absorb
EV : 252 HP / 96 Atk / 160 Def
Nature : Impish
Quagsire takes hits well with its good defense and HP, then strikes back when it crits or gets a super effective. I really needed the coverage of something that didn't get completely owned by a Rain Dance team (like recommended by every single person that commented on the thread). Dark_Azelf recommended an Ice Punch/EQ/Toxic/Encore moveset build, so far its working out well.
Late Game Sweeper
Magmortar@ Choice Specs
Ability : Flame Body
EV : 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature : Timid
Although Heatran is much easier to switch in and out, and significantly more defensive, Magmortar has some advantages in my team. Focus Blast, and Thunderbolt mean that Magmortar has a much easier time taking on some of the common switch-ins. Magmortar is also faster, making it easier to out run some opponents Heatran could not.
