Weren't some popes really bad and raped women?
Of course. Don't forget indulgences, simony, etc.

So what is everyone's view on the gas prices?

I would say that the last Pope was one of the great ones.

Yeah. I'm not religious but he was a great man, did alot for the world.

As to gas prices, they're unbelievable. Almost $2.50/gal. That's almost half of a person's minimum wage. Blame the President.

And petrol prices are hovering around $1.20/litre for us Aussies... which is, y'know, high...

He's old. He won't be there for long. Also, wasn't he a Nazi?

He's 78 years old. He just turned 78 in April.

You know, most countries have had their gas prices at 3.50/5.50 gal for at least ten years. Japan, most of New Zealand, and a lot of other countries have had it like that for a while. America is just starting to get screwed. I seriously doubt that gas prices will ever be under 2.00 a gal for at least the next ten years.

Yeah, I know, it's pathetic. ~_~;;;;;;;

Well around here (Georiga, US) the gas price isn't high like other places in the US. It's around 1.90 - 2.00 a gal. It's lower then most other places. But I wish it was around 80 cents again (the lowest I saw it was 65 cents for a gallon of gas).

Down in Georgia it hasn't even broken $2 yet? Lucky. <_<;

Up here, the lowest gas price is probably somewhere around $2.30 per gallon. x_x The one good thing about me not having my own car is that I don't have to pay for gas. ^^;

Well I have seen a few places like 2.10 - 2.20, but there are few. But I haven't seen anything over 2.20 (it hangs around closer to 2 dollars then 1.90).

Yeah, it's worth the trip (for me, I live in Jax.) to get the gas there, lol.

So what's everyone's opinion on Bush?
