    Here we go, i preordered my pearl this morning, and this is what was on the site

    Hm...nothing about it can be found on the official websites, so I wouldn't be too sure about their authenticy until it is revealed there.

    They do look pretty nice, though. Makes a change from the old blue-orange-ish Pokémon logo.
     
    T_T Those look really good, but they make me even MORE confused about which one to get...diamond or pearl...
     
    I think the "diamond" and "pearl" font sucks. And it's completely different to the curved font used in all the previous versions, so I am slightly suspicious of it in that respect. The "Pokemon" logo looks cool though.

    Meh, I don't really care what the boxes look like, so even if that isn't the real thing, the real boxes will obviously look pretty much the same as that.
     
    I agree with Dawson - the words "Diamond" and "Pearl" look a bit off, especially as it's usually followed by "version". I do like the backgrounds though, the colours look very nice. Don't know whether these are real though or just a mock-up.

    Hmm, not only the font looks funny, even the Pokemon are odd.

    The pre-order site made this one up, imo. :x

    That cant be real it usually says the pokemon company and the letters are lower case plus it always has version and i saw those on a fan site there fan made those there is no offical box art yet

    No word about this the official sites. NOthing against you but still a lot more support from the site that we trust is needed.

    Well they are different from the ones in the past. Color is something nice and different but does looks cool and 'shiny' like a DS. The pink and blue colrs are nice for this gen since it is cool.

    Still I do think these could be fake for a couple of reason. ONe of them is the image in your avatar for Pearl and the Pearl box in your first post. Then as much as I like the color silver color for 'Pokemon' is nice but it strange for them to change the 'logo' just for a game. Also what could say is the strangest looking thing on he box is the uncapitalize for Diamond and Pearl. I don't think something like Nintendo would leave a title of a video game uncapitize espectally for something like Pokemon.

    EDIT: Seconded what Furanki Pkmn Master posted. THere is no 'The Pokemon Company' logo in the corner.

    Yeah. Nice looks but still more support. I have a strong feeling this is fake but I have been wrong before.
     
    yeah, I'm suspicious too. Nothing about those boxes impresses me, especially the disculoration of the word pokemon. I can create the same background effect shown here in Adobe Photoshop with a little less than 7 clicks.

    besides, why does nintendo need to change the box at all? the japanese version looks fine. just change the text to english imo O_o
     
    um ok the company does something diferant and your guys's world fall's apart.... that's really sad. these are just ideas that nintendo is throwing around and are not final that's why theres no "The Pokemon Company" logo becuase someone inside the company showed it to a friend and he put it on the internet duh that's how this stuff happens
     
    The box's are fake, something just tells me they're fake.

    EDIT: Oh, they really are fake. meh, kinda figured that from the Pearl/Diamond font. Looked A bit basic.

    I agree. The moment I saw the boxart, something seemed off about it. I dont know what. It's definitely missing something though. Either that or I'm just very tired from eating all that cake.
