It's either trolls, confused members, or someone with a genuine problem. Quite sad, really. :(

Nope, I do it too. It interests me to see what the other staff do when locking threads. XD;

Though I don't actively search for them, though.

Idk, it's pretty simple what not to do, imo. Or maybe that's just accepted to be known? Either way. But still, I dislike making threads because even I'm scared they'll get locked. XD;

You forgot about the members who can't read. Unless that's implied for 'confused members'

I wonder why people even bother looking and responding to threads back several years. The only reason that I concluded with is they googled it and found an old thread. o:

Yeaaaaah that's what confused was. XD

Gaming? Oh, Syd doesn't always notice in Metal/Colour Generation. XD;;

Oh and once I linked a thread in TCTI, someone clicked it and replied to it, not noticing the date, so it happens :x

How devious of you.

unnecessary note; After Nica mentions donuts there has been a sudden increase in ads about donuts in the DCC.

I...yeah I apparently have some sort of control over PC ads. :(

Cakes.

...you do know that the ads are pretty much context sensitive and find certain words, right? XD;

...XD

The ads you find in threads is hilarious, really. I sure have seen some strange ones over my time here. XD;

do they have anything to do with the said words? O:

lets hope no one mentions anything that will make something unpleasant to show as an ad. ):

Well, it depends what ads they have stored for each word, or what words they even have registered. Pretty sure there's a filter on the ads though, so you only get general Google ads, rather than dirty ones (though I'm sure there was a gay dating one, which isn't close to dirty, but still, it's out of the "general"/mainstream range sort of, due to people's prejudices etc).
