Daily Chit-Chat -- Autumn and/or Spring Edition

I've never injured my eye, but I've had cataracts develop in both of them and I had to have surgery on both eyes (I think the surgeries were a year apart) to remove the cataracts.
 
Other than a bee stinging me in the eye, I've had a soccer ball, a shoe (don't ask), a marble, and a kick (again, don't ask), all hit my eyes.
 
When I was younger I got hit by a staple gun on my cheek. Some kid mucking around in year 7. >.>

It hurt, a lot. Thankfully it wasn't THAT close to me, it was from a long way.
 
I wear glasses so my eyes have been safe from getting hit by things. XD;

I'm kinda sensitive about my face area, so I go to maximum lengths to avoid getting hit there, haha.
 
Sorry to change the subject, but talking about my poor injured eyes is depressing.

I've kinda been wondering this for awhile though. Do any of the other DCC goers actually hack pokemon games?
 
Poking myself in the eye by accident has to be the only form of injury my eyes have ever had.
 
I can't get so much as a speck of dust in my eyes. It's annoying when something gets in my eyes when I have my contacts in. :<

Good enough that you could take on a new starring role in The Lion King 4: Hurt Like a Mother?

I've been skiing about 4 times (week each time) and never gotten hurt. Seems with all that gear on, and hitting a mound of snow below you at 40mph doesn't really hurt all that much. Which is what I love about it.

I've tried to doing that once, without having any experience of any sort of snow transportation.

I ended up using the snowboard as a sledge, since I wasn't able to use it properly, haha. I dislike the feeling of having both of your legs locked in.
 
^ Yeah, I would probably be the same way. The skis being so long and narrow seems like it would be worse though.
 
Lol. We have A LOT of great mountains in the area, so it's a big thing around here.
