I haven't watched Disney in so long... I might need to check up on them.

Darkwing Duck... now THAT was a classic Disney cartoon.
 
Bleach gets delayed a lot like during fight scenes, they'll probably delay the actual fight scene until after 1-3 episodes. The manga is way different but I don't tend to read the mangas of any anime that I watch because then there's no point in me watching the anime anymore because the manga is so far ahead. One of the reasons why I rather watch the anime than reading it. ;-;
 
Fights in poorly made shonen shows: Padding for the author, with little to no plot moving forward other than the plot.
Fights in well made shonen shows: Plot is constantly moving. Fights are simply there to entertain and not to feel like they're dragging.

Give me Sand-Man over ridiculously long sword any day. n_n

Yessss Family was the channel I was thinking of. But I'm sad that I was right that they don't do that anymore. :'(

I also used to watch Dave the Barbarian all the time but it's been so long since I've seen an episode that I can't remember if I watched it to appease my brother and didn't like it a lot or if I actually liked it, haha. Pretty sure that one was Disney too.

edit: omg i am such a slow poster tonight!

Yeah, but Bleach character's heads don't explode into a million little pieces when shot by a single bullet.

I haven't but I've heard the rumors...

Maybe I should watch it just to say I watched it without killing my brain... unless my brain actually does die from watching it :/

YES, I REMEMBER IT THAT FONDLY.

EARLY 2000'S ANIMATION WAS THE BEST THING IN THE UNIVERSE.

THEN, IRONICALLY, DISNEY RUINED IT FOR EVERYONE.
 
I think I vaguely remember that episode!

Aww man, now I just want to sit around and watch cartoons. :( I don't even have basic cable!
