There are no size problems in soccer. It all has to do with technique, tactics and teamwork.
American Football is more physical.

What is with people and football!? I like soccer and play it (I'm too small to make the football team. Heheh.) reasonably well. Football is really boring to watch, too, even if you understand the gameplay.

I find it boring to watch too, I much rather play it.

As for me playing football, well, there isn't much for someone who's just over five feet tall to do. Besides getting crushed. Watching football? It's boring, but watching golf is a lot worse.

That depends who you're playing with, Hispanic play by the rules in my area, but if you go to the Hispanic/African American then there are tackles :/

Otherwise it's a free kick, taken in the place where the tackle occurred.

And basketball sucks. I don't like having no space to think about what to do. Plus I'm short.
