Mostly, its about a weapon Meister named Maka and his partner, sort of a humanoid guy who can trun into a scythe named Soul.

In the beginning they get the souls of about 99 killers or something and 1 witch soul so that Soul can officially be a death sythe...

The show/manga is dark and funny sooo yeah. X3

FMA came seven years before FMAB D;

And FMAB is better IMO. It has better graphics, the story makes more sense and the characters are plain awesome.
And it has more episodes :D

The first FMA anime goes off-topic from the beginning, with fillers and stuff. Then, after like ten episodes, they makes the story their own way xD

It ends up really weird, with alternative worlds and Nazi Germany :|
