I have "detention" on Monday. Meaning that I stay after class and help clean up. It's so ridiculous. I didn't even do anything...

Then do what I do, either just leave, or don't turn up at all!

I have to. It's my last course of the day. Once I tell my mom, she'll be pissed.

Yeah, cause it's not like they don't keep a list of who checks in for detention and who doesn't... At least when I went to school they kept track and if you didn't attend the first time you would have another one plus the one you didn't miss or up to a week. If you skipped that three days of in school suspension, if that wasn't enough then 10 days of suspension. So it is not really a good idea to not attend, although maybe you school doesn't have policies on that others may.

That, uh, usually escalates the problem.

It's like going to jail... and then breaking out! They're not gonna to go "oh hey he left okily dokily" they're gonna go "OMFG MOAR CHARGES AFTAR HIIIIM!"

Damn, that sucks. And why are they making you do it?

@Kenshin: Oh, my school does that too, I just don't give a fu--.

They said I was making "Strange noises" in between classes where we are PERMITTED to speak. And I was talking to my friend.

What. This is madness. I never get in trouble for that, even when not permitted to speak. File a complaint or something.

I would be amused if the principal at my high school did that. XD

....actually I wouldn't, I would be scared bcause she was a bad principal. =(

I remember going to detention once in primary school because I threw a bottle away and it turned out to belong to someone. =/

I don't see why it matters if you where making loud shouting noises. In between classes are a time to unwind, if they want to make a big deal about noises do it in the class. Well you telling your parents is always better then hearing it from the teacher or principle/assistance principle believe me. I would much rather sugar coat in them have them say what I did. Just like Detention isn't that big of a deal but getting in trouble at home is what I always worried about more.

I had to wash the lunch buckets in Elementary school because I told someone who called me a dot head to shut up. I mean the other kid didn't even get in trouble, how fair is that? :/

:-/

Not too fair...

When that happens to me I throw water all over the other person, maybe some soda. That's the most I can get away with without getting in serious trouble.

Yeah, but this is the most recent picture of my teacher...

Seriously, most of my professors have it out for me.

Who's don't? Almost everyone will have at least one teacher who will do anything to get them in trouble.

@SC: Eh, violence solves all my problems...
