NY is....whenever I swim there I choke. :P
One time a seeweed came out of no where and covered my eyes. XD

I'm buoyant...so I don't woory about sinking...I still still choke on the water though. :P
Whever I splash, my arms and legs sting. I'm probaly stroking too hard. XD
 
Are Connecticut waters really salty? Umm... I don't know! Probably. I haven't actually been to the beach in a few years now so I don't remember. I hate swimming in salt water though.

I'm bouyant also... in pool class when we had to bob I couldn't cuz I can't touch the bottom. I seriously can't touch to bottom of a 10ft pool. It does happen every once in a while... but by accident. For one of the tests we had to get a brick off the bottom of the pool... I skipped that test and took a zero. I figured, why bother? I know I can't get to the bottom anyway. I still passed the class anyway... it's either pass or fail for gym anyway... I hated that class so much though...

Nice! I've actually not been swimming in a long long time, same with any other sport, but it's still one of my favourites. PM10k, ya I hate it when that happens to me. x_x

i swam to the bottom of a 25 foot pool, and had breath to spare...i could probably do deeper, but i havent seen a pole of greater depth yet...

same here i do that too!

my dad makes me swim or else he drags me to the deep end of the pool, which makes me scream like a maniac, then he lets go, i sink, panic, swim, breathe, and yell at him for doing that to me. it's actually quite fun with my little sis laughing at me thinking i'm acting like a clown in water.

One time I was giving my neice a piggy back ride in the water and I never touched the bottom. I can reach the bottom but by taking a really really deaf breath. Whenever I get near the bottom, my nose starts to hurt.
Get a brick at the bottom? Wow, I sure if I tried it I'll be stuck on the bottom of the pool. XD

im sure i could do it...i mean a bric aint that heavy and water makes it even lighter cuz of the gravity and whatever...lol
and 10 feet isnt deep, im sure you can do it!

yea wehn i got to the bottom of really deep pooles (ex: 25 feet) my eyes have presssure on them...burns...
 
Hey Good Morning Everyone (Or Good Night to members who are on the other side of the World ^_^) What are you all up to? It's actually pretty nice out today... Sorry for that I was looking at a post from a page before. Swimming is cool.. But Chlorine would disturb the pH Balance in my hair -_-...^_^

good morning...*mumbles* whats so great huh? *JUST KIDDING OKAY!!!!!!!!*
if you get to much chlorine in your hair you just wash it out and use soap right? or you can always go buy a swimming cap thingy to prevent water getting in your hair.

Good afternoon actually! At least here... but you're in the same time zone as me so it's afternoon! When I used to highlight my hair the chlorine wasn't fun to swim in! Green isn't a hair color I want... but it doesn't usually make my hair change colors anymore...

The brick wasn't too heavy for me...especially under water... I just couldn't reach the bottom to get it. So I didn't even try... I practiced getting to the bottom instead. Last year I think I touched it once! Only once...

but that doesnt make sence, things are even lighter under water thaan they are above it...if thats the case you should have been able to do it...did you try and decide it was to hard or did you just look at it? i can lift both my mom and my dad under and in water...
 
I'm from Connecticut... it's just barely afternoon though... 12:49pm. But it's not morning....

I hate getting dressed up! Ugh! I'm wearing long sleeves too cuz I don't have any nice short sleeve stuff... only t-shirts and I can't wear those to a Christening! I don't want to wear long pants since it's going to be 70 today... so I have to wear a skirt... I hate this! Sorry bout that... I had to let it out!

EDIT: I said the brick was ligter under water though... didn't I? It wasn't heavy at all! I just couldn't get to the bottom of the pool to retrieve it...

Well Good morning then Dizzy... but it's definitely afternoon now! I woke up a long time ago...
 
My Little Cousins Birthday Party is today... You know what that means! Partay!! I'm still trying to make a hair de-frizzant that would actually work on my hair -_-. It sucks when you have to spend like 3 hours trying to fix your hair, and then another two de-frizzing it -_-... Oh Well ^_^ My Hair's cool and I wouldnt cut it.
 
Connecticut would be in northeastern United States... it's too small and boring for anyone to care about anyway...

Hair? My hair is soaked right now since I just took a shower. It's not going to be dry in time for the Christening this afternoon. Even if I blow dry it! Oh well... it's supposed to be warm out so maybe it'll dry. But it feels humid and that's not good!
