IMO, this should be at least a thread that people should post longer posts instead of only lines and all. But closing it and making a new one less psammed could be a good idea.
 
Anyone notice the title is "Chit-Chat"? Shall I go over this again?

This place doesn't have the least bit of SPAM. It's Daily Chit-Chat, it'd be hard to SPAM here.

Well actually, this is Chit Chat. So no matter how much we spam it up, this thread honestly doesn't have a real topic, so we can't blame ourselves for spamming or going off topic.

Moving would just kill the thread.

Making a new one would just kill it too.

And like Piro said it's called the "Daily Chit-Chat" some posts are just talking about whatever. The reason it's here so you don't have threads going around like "What pets do you have?" "How was school today?" "Did anyone see what just happened today on TV?". The reason we have the DCC is so we don't have 50 threads a day going around OC on something that can be talked about in the DCC.

Seriously, I don't think this place lacks a point and purpose. We talk on subject and trail off on different things like people do in real life. It's not like Spontaneous Acts of Randomness. SPAM would be considered what Ryan said. Yeah.

I never spam, DP, so I really do not know what you are talking about.
 
Right, this has NO SET TOPIC, hence the name CHIT-CHAT. There's never been a reason to move it in the past, and there isn't one now.
