Militarily germany did not need any of those resources though. They were strong fighters. If Hitler had just won the battle of britain or went straight for moscow or occupied Africa and the Middle East it would've been a German win. XD
The Luftwaffe never would have won the Battle of Britain. Goering was never quite able to settle on any one sensible strategy; just when he had the Royal Air Force at his mercy, he changed his mind and started terror bombing the cities instead. The Heinkel He 111 and Dornier Do 17, while adequate enough during the Spanish Civil War, were simply inadequate when it came to bringing the pain to the British; the slightly more advanced Junkers Ju 88 didn't fare much better either. The Junkers Ju 87 was excellent as a close-support bomber, but absolutely dismal in the strategic role it was pressed into. The Messerschmitt Me 109 lacked the requisite endurance to escort the bombers to their targets for extended periods before returning home; the Me 110 lacked the requisite agility to survive encounters with Spitfires and Hurricanes. While manpower shortages hurt both air arms, the Luftwaffe was more affected by the attrition of its men and materiel.

Hitler did go straight for Moscow, but his planning skills were just plain abysmal. Above all else, he did not anticipate that the Wehrmacht would be in Soviet territory through the winter. He was also counting on the Red Army still being the disorganized, incompetent mess it was when it got its ass kicked by the Finns during the Winter War. As everyone knows, the Nazis found themselves in Russia during the winter, and the Red Army soon got its act together despite losing most of its competent officers to the Great Purge of years past.

Africa and the Middle East? Yes, Erwin Rommel was an excellent general, but where would he have been if he didn't have men to command or petrol to fuel his tanks? Attrition was his greatest foe, not Montgomery and the British 8th Army. Of course, the Vichy French or the Italians couldn't be depended on.
