Yeah it gets pretty boring I only have until May until I can drive though.

Nice.:cool: Those are cool cars, my Uncle has one.

I took the bus. Though in my last year I'd just catch a ride to school with my mom and take the bus home. XD; I'm glad I won't have to next year though. I prefer walking to and from school.

Cars are expensive, both for insurance and gas. :| Even if I had gotten my full license while in high school, my parents wouldn't have let me drive to and from on my own. @_@;

Around my area it's either drive or have no life so I pretty much have got to.

... I walk to/from my house everyday when I go/come back/to school. <~ I mean, I don't need a car. I don't need to take the buss too. ^^

I just don't live that close to my school though.

I never really actually rode a bus any day of my life. I ride a Mercedes though.
New Russians, i.e. the nouveau-riche, arrogant and poorly educated post-perestroika businessmen and gangsters, are a new and very popular category of characters in contemporary Russian jokes. A common plot is the interaction of a New Russian in his archetypal Mercedes S600 with a regular Russian in his modest Soviet-era Zaporozhets after having had a car accident. The New Russian is often a violent criminal or at least speaks criminal argot, with a number of neologisms (or common words with skewed meaning) typical among New Russians. In a way, these anecdotes are a continuation of the Soviet-era series about Georgians, who were then depicted as extremely wealthy. The physical appearance of the New Russians is often that of overweight men with short haircut, thick gold chains and crimson jackets, with their fingers in the horns gesture, riding the "600th Mers" and showing off their wealth.
"Daddy, all my schoolmates are riding the bus, and I am the black sheep in this 600th Mers."

"No worries, son. I'll buy you a bus, and you'll ride like everyone else!"

==========

Sorry, I just like Russian humour a lot.

Concerning my ride, I just go around in a humble silver Hyundai 4-door. If I could buy, say, a Nissan 350Z, a Pontiac Firebird, or a Ford Mustang GT, I would in a heartbeat.

When I lived in Nova Scotia I rode my bike a lot, but I haven't done it much since I moved here. And now my brother grew tall enough to use my bike, so it's not really mine anymore. XD;

biking, heh, not a chance where I live, I really envy countries like Europe, they've got lanes for bikes, I'd use it if I could use it!

I don't really get a chance to go biking, getting to school is just as fast by walking (well sorta) O.o I would bike to town and other places, but it's easier by public transport i.e. buses.

I live up a steep-ish hill... walking up it to get home from school is tiring on a hot day. D:
