I have the original Pocket Pikachu! :D It doesn't work too well anymore even when the batteries are changed, but still.

I've had two of the second version... but one got lost at school (I think in the washroom XD) and the other fell off earlier this year at an amusement park. I'd only just bought it again, too. D:

OMGOMG

WEAR IT MOVE IT, SHAKE IT TAKE IT! (PIKA!)
PIKA PIKA, IT'S ME AND YOOOOOOOOOOOU
POKEMON PIKACHU!

I'll never forget that commercial. Best jingle ever.
Well...that and the Gameboy Pocket commercial.

GAME. BOY. POCKETTTTTTT
STICK IT IN YOUR POCKET STICK IT!!

oh the nostalgia...

I actually don't remember anything from the commercial aside from a bunch of weird kids with hula hoops and that "Pokémon Pikachu!" jingle at the end. XD;

Now I'm starting to think of "Hey You! Pikachu!"
That pikachu would never listen to me....
and I had to yell at it in the mike and stuff. It was cute to say, "I finally have a Pikachu~~" But it really only kept my attention for like...a month xD

I had that game! Except now I lost the microphone, so that was the end of me talking to Pikachu. Besides, I couldn't get the rat to do anything I told it to do.

Those Pocket Pikachu GS things never stay around do they? I also lost mine a few days after getting it. I still have the original, but I liked the color version more. ;; I had a lot of points built up on it as well, since I do a lot of walking at work.

I also have Tamagotchis, which I'm going to be starting one today. Another virtual pet that I have is the old Digimon one, and that one is being started as well as soon as I find the battery cover. xD

Oh! I remember that! I had two of the Digivices and the first Pikachu clip game, whatever it was called. The good 'ol days of childhood :) It's rather sad that I'm not so naive anymore.

But yeah, I was always a sucker for those type of virtual pet things.

I had the original Digimon. Like, the one that looked nothing like the anime ones. XD Then I had an orange digivice, like in season one. 8D;

I had a slew of other pets too, I think. A Nanobaby, a Disney dalmation, and... probably others.

I bought one of the new tamagotchi's. the ones with Infrared. I'm such a nerd 8D

They run out of batteries so quick though...

I kinda want one of the new ones, but I have other things I'd rather spend my money on so I haven't picked one up. D:

Argh, i remember having tamagotchi's (SP?); One was like, a little kitten, then I had a Bugs Bunny one. They were so AWESOME<3

This was like, 7 years ago, and I was maybe..7? Anyways, Yeah, everyone in school used to have them, so I went out and bought them. Mine always ended up dying within a week, or would get all glitchy, and I would have to press the reset button on them T_T

Anyways, yeah; i have some memories of those..Like when I used to cry when I came home from school, and would find a dead animal with angel wings on the screen. it was actually..pretty traumitising XD

I always wanted the litle Pikachu one, but i could never find it ;_;

Tamagotchis, Gigapets, and their ilk. For the most part, I never really bothered with them. However, I did own a black D3 and considered purchasing one of those Pocket Pikachus; the former died, and I never got around to acquiring the latter.

Concerning London, I'd much rather visit Manila, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, or Singapore.

Yeah I still have one of the original ones...the ones that just look like pixel blobs :x
I always got the one that looked the ugliest when it evolved....
Heh, I try to restart them over the summer, but I never remember.

Singapore is amazing...but it's not somewhere I'd like to live. The laws there range from annoying to pointless to ludicrous. I will give them props for their amazing MRT system, which is so much nicer than Japan's subways.

Little India and China Town also offer unique tastes, sights, and consumer goods though.

Some Singaporean laws that foreigners find to be "annoying," "pointless," or "ludicrous" do have some sort of justification behind them. Anyone who's spent time with a durian fruit would immediately understand why they're banned on public transportation in Singapore, for instance.

Its nothing special.

And London isnt as good as its made out to be.

I beg to differ.

The UK has a vivid history (Which can be seen by walking around the towns and cities) Some amazing people, natural beauty (You need only look at the countryside) and much culture, to say it's nothing special is nout short of a lie.

It depends what part of London really.

I think if you've ever studied Singaporean laws, you will see that some could fit right under the definition of pointless. Yes, there is always a justification. That doesn't mean the justification is justified though.

Singapore is a fine city, if the Singaporeans say so themselves.

Needless to say, I don't agree with their bans on chewing gum and porn. I do agree with their use of corporal punishment, however.
