Singapore is a fine city, if the Singaporeans say so themselves.

Needless to say, I don't agree with their bans on chewing gum and porn. I do agree with their use of corporal punishment, however.

Or, y'know, that homosexuality is punishable by life in prison.

Section 377A of the Penal Code of Singapore states, "Any male person who, in public or private, commits, or abets the commission of, or procures or attempts to procure the commission by any male person of, any act of gross indecency with another male person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years."

If there's one thing bad about Singapore, it's their stance towards LGBT rights.

Hello. I love chatting, so I tried to check this out. As you can see, I'm new to this forum, but I'd love to be treated regularly. So, welcome all, any topic for today or something?

Just a little piece of advice before you proceed: If you want to survive in the DCC, don't welcome yourself, and don't ask what the topic is. Just read the most current page and figure out the topic before posting.

I apologize. About Singapore, correct?

Well, I don't see too many problems about it, though I didn't quite enjoy my stay at that place. But then again, it was four years ago, meaning I was six.

I didn't really enjoy my time while I was missing the guy I was dating. :o

Overall though, I'd like to go on a vacation there again.

I just went for a week to Mexico and it was pretty cool ;D

Not somewhere I'd really want to live, but you know, cool.

It's unfortunate that their government is so corrupt. They really could have a very strong economy if the people who governed them actually wanted it. Instead they'd rather all the money flow to them.

And that's why there's illegal immigration from Mexico into the United States. It's not solely because American immigration law is broken. Mexico itself is mismanaged.

And in the long run, it's not a wall we should be building, but America should be extending its economic wealth to try to fix Mexico, so it becomes an idle living place for people. (I'm not suggesting how we 'helped' Iraq though...ugh...)

Would it not be more useful to promote goodwill among men by sharing our gains then to wall them off and only tempt those who can never dream of having?

I'm sick of our world's view of morality, because frankly, it's all imagined.

Heh. Irony.

Well, I've got tons of homework to do for tomorrow so I'm not thinking that my day will be very fun.

Yeah, I have to read and review a book all in one day. Can he do it? Yes he can!

Or, I could just bs my way through most of it because I thoroughly believe I have more intelligence than my current Mass Media teacher.

Also, I'm saying this as I watch a super depressing episode of Ghost in the Shell.
On one hand, you have the Tachikomas sacrificing themselves to destroy the nuke and Kuze getting silenced by Gouda's minions. On the other hand, you have Motoko blasting Gouda's head clean off in the most graphic way possible. It's all a matter of perspective.

Hey people. Has anyone ever had those days where you wake up in a bad mood and it stretched out through your entire day?
This morning I woke up at a late time due to staying up all night the previous night. I stayed up till 4:00am listening to music. I soon after went to sleep, only to wake up at 9:00am. I was tired and in a bad mood, and I managed to let it be mean to my entire day.

Always happens.

Especially on a PE day at school. :(

Eighteen year old thinks he is smarter than someone older than them.

Doesn't everybody think they are smarter than particular older people ;)?
