Gold laughed a bit.

"Now you're hungry? You didn't seem very hungry when I offered you the yogurt..."

He teased, playfully, lovingly. He called the pizza place and ordered what he assumed would leave everyone satisfied. 4 extra large pizzas, the first was Angel's mushroom and pineapple, the second was Julie's and Silver's meat pizza, the third his four-cheese pizza, and the last, plain pepperoni. He ended the call and sat on the bed with Angel, smiling and nuzzling her, and also waiting for the pizza.

-Raike sighed in annoyance. They had let the boy in, which royally pissed Raike off. It wasn't really wasn't his room, so he couldn't object, but didn't mean he had to speak to the kid. He turned the music up on his ipod, drowning out the noise of the room, and calming his nerves. He began to drift off to sleep before long, his anger had almost dissapeared, but it still existed.
This time, he was having a pretty weird dream, nothing like his others. For one thing, he was floating in midair. Second, there was only darkness surrounding him, a swirling, shifting darkness. He soon began hearing whispers, voices, they were talking about him, but their words...he could not make them out. They were speaking in some sort of ancient, forgotten language.
They kept getting louder and louder until Raike was forced to clamp his hands over his ears, and close his eyes. Then, all at once, the voices became silent, as if they either noticed that Raike was in pain, or they might have said all they needed to. Raike removed his hands from his ears, and opened his eyes, only to find himself on some sort of white plain. Looking around, he could see nothing, no people, or buildings, nothing. Suddenly, a huge tremor rocked the plain, Raike stumbled but didn't fall, he stayed in a crouch position, until the quake calmed, and the plain was still once more.
As he stood up, and dusted himself of, he looked up to see a black sword stuck in the ground in front of him. He rolled his eyes, guessing what would happen next. He had read about stuff like this happening to the main characters in books, well the few that he had read. This was the part where the character gained some sort of power, or like what was in front of him now, a "mystical sword." He guessed he should pull the sword from the ground, else the dream probably wouldn't end.
He walked over, slowly, and grasped the hilt in his left hand. He began to pull, not trying so hard at first, but then using two hands. Finally he managed to pull the sword out, stumbling back a bit, but still standing; he held the sword with one hand, and scanned it for any markings, but found none. He then held it up to the sky, showing whoever was watching him.-

"I have the stupid sword now, can I leave?!"

-Just as he said that, the ground began to rumble once more, before cracking, and breaking, sending Raike spiraling into the darkness below, which is when he woke. He had his eyes closed still, for he knew what would happen next. When he finally did open his eyes, they slowly moved to his left hand, and Raike cursed silently. He was still holding the sword.-

"Great... now I'm officially included in this conflict..."

Angel smiled. "I was puking my guts out, dear, of course I'm not going to want to eat. I healed myself, which hurt like heck, and I am now very hungry", she said. She felt Gold nuzzling her, and smiled again. " Your acting like you haven't seen me in weeks instead of minutes." She saw Raike wake up, and he said something about officialy involved with this whole thing. "Believe me, I don't think any of us wanted this as a career choice", she said. *Why is Alex looking for Raike*, she thought.

Julie watched as Silver flew out the window.

"They probably need to be alone."She thought.

She waited for the pizza to arrive and Silver and Rikki to come back. She was getting bored, lonely, and hungry. She sighed. She looked at the door hoping Riley would come in.Which she did.Riley walked in and sat down next to Julie who was now sitting on the couch.

"Hey Riley."She said casually.

"Hey,Silver leave?"She asked.

"He fallowed Rikki who appears to have gone for a walk."She replied.

"I see,well how you feeling?"Riley asked.

"Bored lonely and hungry."Julie replied.

She stood up and walked to the window. She could go for a fly right about now.She didn't know weither to go or not.She turned to Rosie.

"Tell me when the food or Silver gets here."She said.

She couldn't think of the term for it and she opened the widow and jumped out, made sure nobody could see her inside or at,and grew her wings and began flying around. She kept where nobody could see her.She noticed Riley flying with her.

"You can still fly?"Julie asked.

"Yeah."Riley replied as they continued flying.

Alex cursed almost uncontrollably under his breath as he was sure at least one of the angels had spotted him. Them not going after him right away has led him to believe of one of three conclusions. It was either one that doesn't care, one that has restraint or patience, or he flew too fast to be recognized. Alex was sincerely hoping for the last alternative, as he had absolutely no intention to fight the angels, or Rikki, now. His only goal was to get the heir, which he strongly believed it was the human Raike. He, of course, wasn't sure, but what alternative does he have.

Alex sighed. All at once, Adamanta shook in his arms. He did this on rare occasion when he felt a familiar, unusual, or strong presence. This could probably have been from one of the angels, or it could mean Adamanta recognized someone, or something that was close by. Alex looked down at his sword and waited. He held his breath, hiding on the roof of a nearby building next to the hotel. His large wings had retracted back into his skin. He would like to tell himself he was relatively calm, but that would be a lie. Alex grasped Adamanta tighter as he hid, hoping they would ignore him. He had to hope Raike would be separated from the others, and he could convince him to come with him, showing him the benefit of it.

-Raike sighed, sending out a glare to all of those in the room. It was too much of a crowd, and he needed some air. He sat up in the couch, and began to process of erasing the air pockets between his bones, starting with his fingers, then ending with his neck. He then stood up and walked to the door, and exited the room without saying anything to anyone, and only bringing his ipod and headphones. When he walked out of the door, he walked onto the roof of the Empire state building, far from the hotel. Using seemingly no effort, he scaled the wall, until he got to the top, and sat down, leaning againts the pole. He put his headphones on, and turned up the music, which was now "Wake me up, when September ends" by Greenday. Closing his eyes, he allowed himself to disolve into the music, and welcomed the silence around him, yet he still felt it. The lonliness, the regret of never being acknowledged by his race. He kept silent, and sat there, no tears fell from his eyes; there were no more left to fall.-

Alex watched as his luck seemed to flip downside up. The human Raike was leaving the hotel, and was on the move. Discreetly, Alex proceeded to follow him as he made his way to the top of an extremely tall skyscraper. Alex landed not 20 feet from him. He figured a direct approach would be best.

Alex spoke up, wondering if he could be heard over the headphones he was wearing, which play music, another quite fascinating device the humans invented. Alex spoke up.

"Raike, right? Listen, I was wondering if I could talk to you. No, I'm not here to fight."

((Technically, you shoudln't have been able to see him that easily. He warped space to make it so when he went through the motel door, he walked out onto he roof of the Skyscraper but meh.))
-"Summer has come to pass, the innocent can never last, wake me up, when September ends." sung the voice radiating from his headphones. Raike liked songs like this, they really did speak to him. It was as if it was himself singing, but he knew it was a voice he would never have. Raike tensed slightly as he sensed another presence, which seemed to be in front of him. There went his solitude again. He lowered the volume of his headphones so that he could at least hear him out. By the sound of the voice, Raike could tell that it was Alex, but he still didn't open his eyes, he kept them closed, and his head down.-

"What is there to talk about, Alex? I'm not really in the mood to speak to anybody at the moment."

-Raike kept his sword hidden behind him, but at a position where he would be able to counter if the need came up. Alex had said he did not want to fight, but Raike sensed some kind of other killer intent.-

( Woops, sorry about that. :( )

Alex sighed. He was glad he didn't attack him right away. He would have hated to have to end this bloodily right away. Alex took a step forward and spoke.

"I'm looking for the same person the angels are. I'm just doing it on my own." Alex sighed again. "Alright here's the truth. I've got a good sense of things sometimes, and something tells me I already found the heir, and he's right in front of me, so I was wondering if you wanted to accompany me. I mean, you really don't seem like the type to really follow what the angels are trying to do. You don't seem all that noble or anything like that, no offense. I'm not 100% sure you're the heir, but at least travel with me either way. I guarantee a better result for you this way. There's more to gain this way."

Alex looked at him, before admiring the view. It was actually pretty nice up here. His sword Adamanta rumbled. Alex tried to ignore it.

Rikki stuffed the device back in her pocket again. Sure, she wanted to know about her mother, but now wasn't the time. Without even looking around, she pushed her wings out, not caring if someone saw. Giving their motel, which she could still see, a quick glance, she lifted up into the sky.

She was flying aimlessly. She had no destination, no purpose. She needed to clear her head. She needed to get her mind away from everything that's happened. She didn't understand anything that was going on. Why did her father decide to tell her all of this? How did she have a brother, and no one tell her? Why would Alex just leave, and not let her go with him?

She cursed at herself for thinking about that. She'd done well to keep her mind off of it, but now that it was there, she had an idea. Smirking, she landed on the top of a random motel building. She closed her eyes and searched. It took her a few minutes but she found it, Alex's mental pattern. Even if he wanted to, it wouldn't be a piece of cake to stop Rikki from seeing into his mind. Not that he would know she was there.

So she just stayed there, eyes closed, and started listening to his mind, to know what he was up to, how he was feeling. She just needed to know, plain as that.

(OOC: I needed something to do, and this works for me! :) )

-Raike nodded, listening to Alex's proposal. He didn't know Alex very well, but from what he saw, he could tell that he was one who would focus on the task he was given, and not stop until it was completed. Raike still ended up shaking his head in dissagreement. He couldn't deny his own nature, just to go off and become some kind of dark lord or whatever. He had his own life to live, and he intended to enjoy what was left of it.-

"I'm sorry dude, but I'm not going with you, anywhere. Now I have to go and find a different place to relax, since you just interrupted my alone time. And I don't know why you people can't get this through your heads, but there's no way I can be the heir or whatever. Do you see any wings on my back? Cause I sure don't...this is my final answer."

-Raike stood up, and jumped down from the peak of the building, landing in a crouched position, before standing up and walking to the door, preparing to warp the landscape once more. He had powers, and he was a human... but that didn't mean he was the heir to anything. Who would acknowlage him anyway...-

Alex facepalmed his head. He sighed. "Well that didn't quite go as planned." Alex sighed and flew off. He felt a pain in his head. He felt his sword rumble again. Alex looked at it. He asked.

"What's the deal? Something wrong?"

"Alex, your mind. It's being invaded."

Alex paused in flight. He landed. He didn't feel anything, but his sword Adamanta had always watched his back in this way. It was quite a useful thing. Alex sighed one more. It had to be Rikki. Alex shrugged. He didn't know how to respond, so he sent a simple message.

Get out of my head Rikkilyn.

Rikki was a little shocked that Alex knew she was listening to him. She smirked anyway, shaking her head. She should have known she wouldn't get away with it. Not that she'd been thinking too clearly recently anyway. Sighing, she was going to leave him alone, but then she thought about something and shook her head.

No. No Alex. I don't want to. You don't get it, do you Alex?

Rikki shook her head. Of course he didn't understand, she barely understood it herself.

If you want me gone, make me leave. Look, I'm not causing you any harm, at least, not as much harm as you already caused. So, if you truly want me to leave you alone, make me, Alex.

Rikki thought for a minute, then added,

Spar with me. The way Trainer had us spar. We spar until one of us gives up, or until one or both of us cannot battle anymore. You win, I leave you alone, or whatever you want. I win, you talk to me, face to face.

Alex didn't like fighting, so she didn't know if he'd accept it or not. But it was the only way to get her to leave him alone. She wasn't giving up.

Adamanta seemed to read his mind, because once Rikki was finished thinking to Alex, Adamanta shuddered, obviously eager, or excited, or both. Alex sighed. He didn't want it to come to this, but it seemed like the only way to get her away. For now, and maybe, for good. Alex thought back in his mind.

Very well, Rikki, but you won't like it. I'm not going to hold back. He had never gone his full in a fight, but this time, he might have to, or get close. During his sparring sessions, he'd usually just give up because he thought of it as another pointless fight. This time, though, it would be for real.

Name the place, and I'll be there right away. Adamanta laughed a bit as his projection appeared on his arm for a brief second.

"This will be fun."

Alex shook his head. "Don't be too happy. I'm not really planning on using you."

Adamanta grumbled something to himself before disappearing from his arm. Alex waited for a reply from Rikki.

Rikki heard his reply, and nodded her head to herself. Alex was strong, she'd have to try really hard to beat him. She needed to talk to him, to really be able to talk to him, so she needed to win.

I don't expect you to hold back Alex. I expect you to fight me like you would fight anybody else.

She thought for a minute about where the fight should take place. She knew where he was, thanks to her mind reading, and knew where an okay place to spar was, where they wouldn't be seen.

Right outside of the city, there's a patch of woods, go through a little ways, you'll find a clearing. I'm heading there now.

Rikki brought her wings out, and headed in the direction of the place. She knew a bit about it from Trainer, he had even made a room in their training center that looked just like it. She found the clearing and landed there, crossing her arms.

Alex nodded to himself more than to Rikki, and thought, I will fight you there, then.

Alex headed off to the area she mentioned to him. It was out of the way, not exactly in the city limits, so there would be no witnesses. Moreover, it was in a condensed area, which also did not bode well for Rikki, and provided a better advantage to Alex's style of fighting, which he will soon demonstrate. All the while whilst heading there, Alex tried to formulate a plan to fight without using Adamanta and still winning. It wouldn't be easy, but Alex had no real intention of hurting Rikki, yet. He knew, thought, with her general personality, she wouldn't give him a chance not to use it. He doubted the angels had a chance to rub off on her so soon, but who knows?Alex arrived at the clearing, seeing Rikki there. He looked at her without a smile or anger either. It just seemed like a straight face. Alex spoke.

"I'm here, Rikkilyn."

When Alex arrived, Rikki took in a breath. She needed to do this, despite how much she didn't want to. She challenged him. She took a few steps forward, giving a slight smile before sighing.

"Since I challenged you, you decide. Are weapons allowed?" she asked. She hadn't used her weapon at all, she hadn't even picked it up. Not that she'd needed to since coming here. "I'm going to try to beat you Alex, don't doubt that. If I have to use my powers, I will."

Saying that made her look at her arm. She sighed and rubbed it, wishing it would stop hurting. She looked back over at Alex, but then just turned her attention back to her arm, waiting for his answer.

Alex sighed, not returning the smile.

"You may use whatever you wish, and that will be the same case with me."

Alex closed his eyes and took a step back. He took his guitar off his shoulder and placed it next to a nearby tree. He then stepped forward again and got into his sword-style stance. He raised his sword above his head, which was still in its sheath, a similar thing he had done when he battled the angels before. He kept his eyes closed for a bit, concentrating on his next move.

Alex prepared for Rikki to strike. His entire body prepared for the motion of attack and defense.

Rikki nodded. She grabbed her bow from her back, wincing a little when she knocked it against her arm. Rikki bit down on her lip and decided on something. Think of it just like the spars back home. She took in a deep breath and smirked.

"You can make the first move Alexander." she said, keeping her smirk intact. She needed to remember who she was. How she was. She was Rikkilyn Mariannamay Carron. She was seventeen. And she fought to make herself feel better.

"Game on." she said.

Alex remained silent and poised, not intent on making the first strike. He had always been the second one to make the move, not just because he was probably against fighting to begin with, but because his whole fighting style revolved around the counter techniques he implemented. He knew with Rikki's draining patience, as in previous fights, she would most likely charge in first, so he waited patiently, his eyes still closed. He rather enjoyed the silent stillness. It was the calm before the storm, and most likely it would be a hurricane. Alex made not a single move, keeping absolutely still. Adamanta remained sheathed above his head. He could hear his surrounding very well, and he could see them very well because of this, even though he had his eyes closed. He could 'feel' what needed to be heard, and listen to what needed to be seen.

Awkward as it may have seen in the beginning, Alex made no move.
