Silver felt an immense psychic presence and wanted to scream every profanity in the english dictionary, but restrained himself. He was always a few steps ahead. He used his own psychic abilities to a huge plan.

Firstly, he clouded Angel's, Julie's, and his own thoughts, filled them all with human thoughts that were all-too-common. Then, he forced them all to look human, pretty different from usual looks. He then filled every room with other generic human 'shadow clones': fake people. He smiled and intercepted the other psychic's connection on them. Now, they were perfectly normal humans, in a hotel filled with humans. Then he added an extra step. At the top floor, he made clones of the three 'rebels' wearing disguises and filled their heads with the rebels' thoughts. He knew the psychic and whoever she brings along would fall for this, and as soon as they got to the 'rebel' clones, the clones would take off into the sky, making it a chase.

(Getting a little mixed up here, but I'll go with it. :) )

Alex knocked again. No answer. They either didn't want to, or didn't need to. He called Rikki again, "Do you know where she is? I'm not getting a response at the door..."

He waited for a reply. He couldn't sense thoughts, and had trouble telling what thoughts said as they filled his mind. It was one of the disadvantages of Alex. He didn't have any skill in mind-reading.

(Ummm. I'm completely confused. Didn't Rosie leave the building already?)

Rikki sighed, then growled. "Yes, I know exactly where she is. But that damned Angel is trying to confuse me. This Angel has a wide variety of powers, probably all connected to one main power." Rikki rubbed her head, she now officially had a headache. "I think we're gonna have to fight, no way around it." she clenched her head harder, there were too many thoughts crowding her brain.

She was having a hard time telling one thought from the other, and who's was who's. She was absolutely certain where Rosie was, but the pain in her head was keeping her from concentrating. Soon enough, she couldn't focus, and her wings stopped, and in a matter of seconds, she fell.

Rikki had felt herself hit the ground, but didn't really do much of anything. She squeezed her eyes shut, and held her head. Darkness Angels were made for flying, so when she hit the ground, she hit hard. Unable to speak, she sent a thought to Alex, something she thought she would never have to say:

Help!

Alex sighed and tried to send something back to Rikki, Then can you please tell me where she is? I'd like to be done with this as soon as possible. There was no response for a while. He couldn't sense, so he didn't know where Angel was. Now Rikki wasn't responding. Alex felt his head fill with a few thoughts, and he thought he heard Angel say she was in the alley, but that was followed by a help call from Rikki. So the decision was this, either go to Angel and probably get into a pointless fight, or see what was wrong with Rikki and avoid a fight altogether. In the end, he would probably have to fight Angel, but for now, he decided to avoid the confrontation and go see what was wrong with Rikki. He tried to make out where she was, and found her knocked to the ground. "What the hell happened to you?"

Alex put away his guitar and tried to help her up. "Come on, now. I don't need you breaking apart on me as well."

*You will never cease to amaze me, my love*, Angel thought. She rubbed her tiger-body against his legs, showing her affection. She heard Rikki hit the ground hard outside the door. She winced as she remembered her own crash-landing. She was still on alert, staying by Silver's side. *I think we will have to fight*, She thought. Her eyes were a beautiful emerald green now.

(I had left, then I revised my post so that it went a bit better. I'm massively confused, but ok. We'll go with it anyway.)

Silver smirked darkly as the plan fell into action. He knew this would drive the psychic crazy. And he could still mind-read clearly.

"Come on, pawns, move where I command you..."

He couldn't believe how well this plan was working.

"One final step..."

The 'rebel clones' were on the rooftops. At his command, the 'julie clone' shouted, "Quick, while they're confused, let's go!" loud enough that the dark angels could easily hear. And with that, the 'rebel clones' flew up into the sky, clearly visible to the dark angels as they sped off towards the west. In all of the commotion, the real three had vanished, taking refuge in an entirely random hotel further off north. After the three settled, he sat them down and taught them in mind-reading protection. He taught them how to prevent their thoughts from being read, and how to change their mind frequency, so that no one could catch them. At least not with psychic powers.

Hmph, psychic vs. psychic. I won, but that wasn't entirely fair... I had a plan. Then again, I always do...

Silver relaxed and pulled out the chinese leftovers, splitting it up between the three of them.

(We should wait for miley... And I'm getting off for now... So don't go too far until both of us have posted. Someone let miley know she's falling behind...)

Rikki hissed at the pain in her head, then looked over at Alex. "One of those damned Angels did something." she winced, "Whatever it is the Angel's doing, its going to be a problem. If they can sense me coming, sense me reading their minds, and they can do that to me, then I'm seriously screwed." she said, managing to stand up without falling down.

If she wasn't before, Rikki was now thoroughly pissed. She gritted her teeth together, trying to push back all the thoughts attacking her. "As long as that Angel is with her, I can't get close to her. I can monitor her from far away, where they can't sense me, but I can't get close like this." she shook her head, "We've got to figure out exactly which Angel is doing this, and we have to separate them." she put her hand to her head again.

"Can we get out of here? Before my head blows up." she asked, irritated. She was already aggravated that these stupid Angels got her to the point where she had to ask for help, she didn't need to give them the satisfaction of seeing her fall apart. "Please." she added reluctantly.

Angel ate her food in silence, thinking. *Silver did all that and didn't break a sweat*, she thought. She got up and went to change in the bathroom. Silver might be able to go shirtless, but Angel certainly couldn't as it might lead to things that should ought to be done alone. She came out in a black satin night shirt and matching pants. She sat on one of the beds. She was looking out at the night sky. Angel felt a song welling up, begging to be sung. She remained silent, forcing the song to die in her throat. She couldn't chance the others following her voice and finding them. She hated forcing herself not to sing. She wanted to so badly. So she began to sing mentally. Her voice was sad, un sure. Her song was a reflection of what she felt. And right now she felt cold inside. Like she was made of ice. She shivered, fluffing the soft, warm down of her wings to help her warm up a little. Her eyes were lilac purple again after being green.

Alex helped her up, and spread out his own wings, which were big enough to carry both of them. He helped her onto his bad, and was about to depart, before seeing the three angels fly off.

There was just one problem with that, Alex thought to himself, sure that Rikki couldn't read his mind in this state, those weren't the three angels flying away. They're fake. He didn't know how he knew, he just did. He even saw the real three take off in a different direction. Alex's eyesight never left them as he watched them enter another hotel. He knew where they were. Once he had sent Rikki back to the motel, he would fly there by himself to try to talk this out. In the meantime, he flew back to the motel, with Rikki with him.

He entered to find the human still sleeping there. "You sure are a deep sleeper, human." He said to the sleeping one. He placed Rikki on her bed, and sat down on his own. He took out his guitar and played it a bit in silence. Alex made up his mind to look for them alone a little later, but not too much later, or they'll leave again.

He silently played the guitar, shooting small looks occasionally at the sleeping human and at Rikki.

Rikki felt the pain in her head slowly dissolving, but the after effect was still hurting her a little. She cursed under her breath several times before actually speaking, "I swear, when I find out who did that to me, I'm gonna murder them! I mean, damn, this freaking hurts." she didn't really care if she was saying this out loud or not, she was just saying it.

She sat up, and glanced over at the window, where the light was streaming in. She walked over to it, a bit wobbly, and closed the curtains around it, blocking out the light, then sat back down on her bed. She put her head in her hands, rocking back and forth, trying to make the pain subside.

She lifted her head for a minute and turned to Alex. "I'm only going to say this once, okay?" she said, then turned her head to stare at the wall in front of her. "Thank you." she kept her gaze at the wall.

She didn't say thing like help, please, thank you, they just weren't things she did. But she felt like she had to. So she did. "Don't expect for me to saying any of those things ever again, got it?" she said, her face a little red.

She leaned her head against her knees, wrapping her wings around herself.

Alex had done too much today for his own good. He was breaking his lazy streak, and he didn't like it. He glanced up at Angel as she started speaking. He shrugged.

"No offense Rikkilyn, but with your recklessness, you might as well get used to saying it a lot more often, because if you continue to try to kill randomly and recklessly, these things will continue to happen."

He played a few more notes before stopping again. "Our mission was suppose to involve all three of us, and I intend to get the stupid Angel girl back. I mean, she was literally here for one day. ONE DAY!! How can you fall in love with someone, especially and enemy, especially an angel, in one day!? I swear, she is so selfish. She's abandoning the entire Dark Kingdom for here own personal pleasure."

Alex calmed himself down. He realized what he said. It was true. They were chosen by the Kingdom of Darkness specifically, and Angel goes and denies all that in one day out in the human world. Alex didn't like to fight, and would only do so when he felt it was either necessary or just. Now, when Alex will go to talk to them next time, and she still denies, it will actually BE just, because he would be doing not just to fulfill his laziness of sharing the work load, but because he had so many relying on the success of their mission.

Rikki growled at the use of her real name. Despite how much she hated it, Alex was the only one who could get away with it, without being beat half to death anyway. She continued to listen to him, and she completely agreed. That girl was being just plain selfish. No one said they had to fight anybody. Rikki didn't even think the Angels knew their true purpose. They didn't know that they were looking for the heir to their Kingdom. They had no intention of taking of the human world, not yet. They still had many years before attempting that again. They had to find the heir, then train them to rule Kingdom, then the new king, or queen, would decide the Darkness Angels, and the human's fates.

Once Alex was quiet, Rikki pulled her wings back and grabbed a pillow. Glaring in Alex's direction, she threw the pillow at him.

"Would you just say 'your welcome'? You know saying things like that makes me uncomfortable. Especially saying them to you!" she knew she was very close to screaming, but it annoyed her just a bit.

She crossed her arms, glancing at the human, and rolling her eyes. She looked back over at Alex and shook her head.

Alex look back at her and laughed a bit. "You're welcome, Rikkilyn. Just please don't make a habit of expecting me to save you. I'm not that type of guy. But from what I heard, the one Angel is with certainly is." He said the last part in a sarcastic tone. He played a few more notes on his guitar before putting it down. He walked over to the human and shook his head.

"Any reason why he's still here? I mean, I don't mind, it's just unusual. Well I'm sure you have your reasons. I'm gonna go get some air. I'll be back in an hour, maybe."

He was really going to sort out the situation with Angel. He got his weapon Adamanta and proceeded for the door.

"I'll call you if anything comes up." He lied. With that, he proceeded out towards the door and to the direction of Angel. He would not go there to fight, but if she refused to return after hearing his explanation, he would have no choice.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

(OOC I'll be back later, bye for now guys. :) )

Angel thought for a few more moments. Then she took a huge gamble and dialed Rikki's cell phone. *I have to explain everything*, she thought. The phone rang and she paced waiting for Rikki to answer. She hung up, something telling her she didn't need to use her phone. So she laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

Rikki shook her head when he left. Even though her powers were weak, she could still read his mind, and she knew he was lying. She knew exactly what he was going to do, and she didn't care. She knew he could take care of himself if he had to, plus, she'd keep tabs on him, keep contact with his mind, so if that other Angel interfered, she could help.

She looked around the room, staring at the sleeping human for a minute before scoffing. That kid could sleep. She wondered if it was a human thing, or maybe he'd had a long day the day before. She didn't know, she just knew that she had some information to get out of him, and she couldn't let him go until she did.

Her thoughts went back to Alex for a moment and she sighed. He probably knew that she knew he was lying, he would have been a fool to think otherwise. Leaning her head in her hand, she sent him a thought:

Good Luck. I'm trusting you Alex, come back in one piece.

A few minutes later, Rikki heard her phone ring, and saw it was Rosie. She growled, and just tossed the phone away.

"Is it such a horrible sin to be loved, and then to act on those feelings?"

-The black haired male removed his now silent headphones, and placed them around his neck casually before sitting up and turning to look at the female angel. As he said that, there was a hint of sorrow in his eyes, and an even smaller amount in his voice. He looked down for a few moments before bracing his arm against his knee, and rising from the couch. He then walked slowly over to her, and stood to face her, the look of carelessness back on his face, seeming to say that his mood earlier was nothing more than a visual illusion. He hadn't been asleep for that whole time, but he had been listening, and even peeked at the girl when she was sleeping, trying to whatch him. The girl had been watching him sleep, and apparently she had something to ask him, since she waited all that time.-

"So what is it you wanted to ask me Rikki?

Easily said, Rikki was surprised when the human woke up. She had gotten accustomed to sitting in the room, more or less, by herself, so the extra company startled her a bit. She stood up, folding her wings back, and crossing her arms.

"Before I get to that, do you think you could tell me your name? Considering you neglected to last night." she asked, "That is, unless you want me to continue calling you Human."

She folded some of her hair behind her ear, waiting for the human to respond.

--The black haired male paused for a few seconds. He knew she was going to ask sooner or later, but he guessed it was sooner. He reached up with his left hand and began to scratch his head, closing his eyes.-

"My name, is Raike. You don't get a last name, since I don't know if you might come searching for me some day to try and kill me in my sleep. Now what is it?"

-He stopped scratching his head and looked at the female, one hand in his pocket, and the other hanging by his side. A glint of impatiance shone in his eyes. It wasn't like his name was all that important anyway. Not too many people knew him, and an even less number cared. Raike was a drifter, not really making any friends or meeting anyone, but just getting by on his own. It was how he had lived, and was pretty sure he would continue to live.-

Rikki smirked. "Fair enough. But I can assure you, I am not going to try to kill you." then she put a hand to her head, her headache coming back.

Sighing, she sat back down, unfolding her wings, still holding her head. She probably sat there for a minute before she looked back up. "You're not an ordinary human, which I'm sure you already know." she took in a breath. "We are in your world in search of the heir to the Darkness Kingdom. Back when the two Angel worlds were at war with one another, and we were banished to our Kingdom, until our King died, a Darkness Angel remained in the human world. Our Trainer has discovered that there is a descendent of that Angel somewhere in this world." she stopped for a minute.

"But you really don't care about our history, do you?" she asked. "But with that information, do you understand what I'm getting at? Either way, I believe there is a chance that you could either be the heir, or you could be related to the heir." she stopped again, sighing, "Do you understand what I'm saying?" she asked, pulling at her wings.

-Raike stood there for a moment, his face the same as it was when he first walked over to her. In his mind, he wanted to say "Ya I'm listening, but all I hear is B.S." But he couldn't because some of her story actually made sence. He began to ponder about the possibility of him actually being a heir to the darkness kingdom or whatever. There was no way he was going to rule over anyone, it wasn't hhis style, and besides that, there were a few errors to this suspicion. Finnaly he opened his mouth to speak.-
"Yeah well, that sound bad...or good for you I guess, but there are a few things wrong with your story. One I have no family, well at least I don't consider them family. They are just a bunch of selfish jackarses, nothing special about them. Second, I hate people, save for a few, so the possibility of me ruling over an entire kingdom? Not so much. Third, I don't know, but the last time I checked, I don't have wings coming out of my back, and I can't fly."

-He looked behind himself at his back, and turned to show her there was nothing there, before turning to face her again. He quickly made two cups of hot chocolate from what he found in the kitchen, and handed one to her.-
"It's good for headaches."
-He said before taking a sip of his own.-
