Julie loked at Silver.

"I know,I just feel like it sometimes."Julie replied.

Julie looked at Rosie's wings.

"Beautiful purple,I wish my wings were that color."Julie said."Pink would be okay too though."

Julie was happy to find a conversation change.

Alex started heading towards the door, cash in check, and stomach full. He wore a surprisingly happy look on his face, not just because he had a chance to converse rather peacefully with angels in a long time, but because for the first time in a week, he ate well. Alex put away his guitar into the case, and slung it over his shoulder. His blade Adamanta started hissing. The projection of the blade appeared on his hand again.

"They have figured something out about the deaths of some close to them by me.", Adamants hissed to Alex. Alex sighed and kept walking, his happy look on his face now gone.

"I suppose it was only a matter of time. I wonder what they'll do next. Will they try to kill me?" Alex sighed again. Fighting for revenge isn't nearly a good excuse to take up a weapon and fight, but those two recognized the blade, and since Alex has been the only other known person to actually wield this blade, or more like could wield this blade, it was obvious what they thought at the moment. Alex sighed again.

The blade projection spoke. "You should welcome this fight, it will be a chance to exercise, you need it after all the food you've eaten."

Alex shook his head. "Not like this..."

He kept on walking, staring at the sky, lost in his own world briefly.

Silver looked at Julie with soft purple eyes, caring. But a subject change was wise.

"I wonder when yours will begin to change..."

He glanced at her wings curiously.

~~~~~
"Yeah, purple's my favorite color..." He smiled at her. He then looked at Silver.
"Hey brother, shouldn't we go ask that Alex pest if he knows any light angels or something?"
"I would like to know..." Replied Silver, as the twins walked to the window.
"Hey, there he is, over there!"
Gold smiled and pointed at the boy as he walked, looking at his hand for some reason. Gold hopped down and began to run up to Alex, Silver sighed and turned to the others.
"You two can come if you'd like, but I know how much Alex bugs you both... Me too... But I need answers." Silver hopped down and ran up to Alex also.
~~~~~

Silver caught up with Gold and Alex. The twins had their weapons, but sheathed, and they seemed in no intention of fighting at the moment.

"We're just curious about something... We may have known someone you knew.... But..." Gold stumbled on words, so Silver spoke.

"We were wondering if someone you knew was... A light angel... By that I mean... A family member...? Erm... This is really complicated but we have to I guess."

Silver placed two fingers on Alex's forehead and closed his eyes as he projected the memory of their parents' death to Alex. Making a clear point of the part with the man who looked similar to Alex, with Adamanta sword as well. Then when the twins turned animal and attacked him--

Silver ended the thought mid-pounce. He frowned, usually not giving people he wasn't friends with this kind of information. Gold sighed.

"He was a light angel... But you're dark... He was an adult when we were small children... Um... He may have been your father, or uncle or something? If he is I'm sorry... We killed that man... He made us kill our own parents..."

Gold stopped himself, seeing that Silver's head was hung, hair hanging, tears dripping.

*Well of course I'm coming*, Angel thought. Her wings had no more black feathers. They were pretty shades of purple. She felt happier, for some reason. She stood next to Gold, looking the picture of peace. She looked at Alex, quietly observing him. * The blade. The blade is projecting onto his hand. It's talking to Alex and Alex is answering it. Adamanta is it's name. It's eager to fight us and kill us, but Alex is not.*, She told Gold and Silver. *We have to be very careful about this.* She listened to Gold and Silver speak. *.....You two don't know the meaning of the word subtle do you?*, she thought. Typical males. Always to the point. Oh well, too late now. She waited, hoping the blade would not kill any of them. If he killed her, she knew Gold, Silver and Julie would kill him. If he killed Gold, she, Silver and Julie would murder him, and so on and so forth. Either way some one would end up dead.

"Okay then, lets go!"

-Said his afterimage he had left behind. His primary form was now racing across the city. He was going somewhere around the speed of light but that wasn't his top speed, nor did it matter. He was free. No more small rooms or confined spaces, nothing tying him down at all. He almost forgot the reason he was running, but remembered and decided to not care weather he won or lost, this was fun.-

Julie jumped out the window and grew her wings.She didn't feel like jumping out and landing hard.She noticed a few of her feathers were "Middle Purple".Julie smiled seeing this and she landed,degrew her wings,and landed.She walked over next to Silver and saw him crying.She hugged him again.She felt like this was all she could do when he was so sad.She couldn't think of words to comfort him.She looked at Alex and mouthed the words "Awsner them please." with sarrow and pleading in her eyes,but made sure Silver couldn't see her face.

Alex saw as the angels caught up with him and saw them touch his mind, showing them the image. He sighed. He might as well tell them.

"What you saw is indeed an angel, but he was a dark angel. His properties were to have light wings, but he wasn't an angel, and his name is Allen. He was the former user of the blade Adamanta. He is my oldest brother, and you did not kill him. I know, because it is a cursed weapon. And those who wield it are doomed to die, but cannot be killed. He is cold enough to do so. So what now? Do you want revenge? My older brother died a long time ago from the curse of the weapon, so sorry to disappoint, unless you want revenge on me. You can try, you'll fail, but you can try."

He sighed again. "I'm curious as to see what you intend to do now, now that you know. If you want to fight me, Adamanta and I are ready. And we do not lose easily, as you will soon find out."

Alex looked at all of them and smiled. "Are you ready old friend?", He whispered to the sword.

"I always am, Alex."

Julie felt herself jump infront of Alex and stretch her arms out and shake her head at Silver.

"Don't you dare Silver,or Gold."Julie said with warning in her voice and a strict face."Its not Alex's fault,as much as I hate protecting someone you hate Silver,don't attack him.You'll have to go through me."

Julie looked at Silver with eyes that had strictness in them.She wouldn't let them fight.She didn't want anyone to fight.She mostly didn't want fighting,but partly didn't want Silver hurt by Alex and his sword.She turned around.

"And Alex,don't attack him.You don't use your sword,and I'll hold Silver and Gold back if they end up killing me in the process."Julie said to him with the same tone of voice.

Angel drew her sword, holding it with the ease of one long used to it. Her wings flared, the shine of her feathers catching the last rays of the setting sun. She heard Julie and lowered her sword. "Julie's right. There is a time and place to fight, but now is not that time and this is not the place. Let's just all go back home and cool off", she said, placing a hand on Gold's arm, which she knew was tensed. Alex may not survive because he had threatened me. And if there's one thing Gold doesn't like, it's when I was being threatened. *Just let him go, my dear. He will be judged by the Almighty in due time.*, she thought sagely. *Almighty will decide what happens to him. I still want to go out flying with you.*

Silver felt a bit irritated by Julie's response.

"You know I wasn't going to attack!! Or at least you should have known..."

With that, and an expression of hurt, he turned and flew back to the room. Gold sighed.

~~~~~
"I don't know about a full-blown battle, but we could have a swordfight, right? You know, for fun!"
Gold looked excited but felt Angel clutch his arm, and knew she wouldn't want him to fight. He looked a little disappointed and released his hand from the hilt of the longsword on his back. He smiled and whispered,
"In due time, Jade, you'll have your chance..."
Frowned sensing that Silver was hurt now. He sighed and turned to Julie.
"You shouldn't have assumed he would fight so easily... You were right to block me though!"
He said lightheartedly. He sighed and faced Alex.
"Now that Silver's gone... You know, we did kill him... I... I don't think there was much anything after we attacked him... Maybe his time had run out, and that caused the events that led up to his death... I still think he was a light angel... Honestly, you do strike me as a hybrid, like us... Either way, sorry about your brother..."
He smiled and pointed at Angel's now-purple wings.
"And that, my friend, is a gift from the almighty. We are going to change the world, soon..."
Gold smiled and took Angel's hand in his, walking back towards their hotel.
I'd love to go flying with you sometime... I bet you'll fly better with your new wings!
Gold chuckled.
~~~~~

Silver hid his tears until he was in the room, where he proceeded to the bathroom, closed and locked the door, turned the fan on, and took a long, hot shower, letting all of the sounds drown out his cries.

I can't believe she thinks I'm like that... I would never...

Silver took his wolf form, letting out a whimper as he curled up in the scalding hot shower, crying.

Rikki smirked. This human would indeed be interesting attachment to the team. Rikki spread her wings out as far as they would go, wincing a bit while doing so. Rikki shook her head.

"So you got a head start, no big deal." she said, hoisting herself up. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, she was flying. Half the time it seemed more like she was gliding than flying, not that she had much of a choice. Her wings couldn't handle heavy flying, but she was pretty sure they could handle this. She looked around while flying, taking in the parts of the city she hadn't quite explored yet. Thinking about her mission, she knew she needed to contact Trainer, report information, and get some of her own.

Rikki lowered herself a little, feeling the pressure was pressing too hard on her wings. It lightened up, but she slowed down a little. She had a feeling Raike might beat her, but the pain in her wings distracted her from the thought.

"Whoa." she said, feeling one of her wings giving out a little. "Hey, we're not quite done yet." she said to herself. She continued flying best she could, navigating her way through the town. She had stopped paying attention to the city a while ago, and was now looking for their motel again.

She sighed when she reached the motel, and before she could land herself, her wing gave out. She crashed down onto the roof.

"Ow!" she said, rubbing her sore wing. Sighing, she tucked them back in, she'd ask Trainer about her wings as well. "Damned gravity." she muttered, rubbing one of her legs, considering she landed on it.

It was just a reaction Julie had.She watched Silver walk away with tears in her eyes.She walked away from the hotel and away from the others.She wanted to be alone,and put as much distance as she could between her in the others.She felt bad that she accused Silver of that,but she was just so on edge right now she didn't know what to expect.She flew to the top of a skyscraper.It started to rain.

"Really!?"Julie said out loud to herself.

She didn't leave the top of the roof,she really couldn't care less if she was soaking wet.She cried.She couldn't stop.She knew she hurt Silver and she couldn't stand seeing him so hurt.She laid on her side on the roof of the skyscraper and looked into the distance.Riley would have known that Silver wouldn't do that.She now wished she could just curl up and die.She looked at the ruby necklace she had on.

"I need your Riley,I need you so bad."She said through crying.

She didn't want to return to the hotel.She felt so horrible,she would never be able to look at Silver again.She continued crying.No thoughts would calm her sorrow.The rain around her began to freeze.When she was sad she accedently froze things,when she was mad she accedently burnt things.

Angel smiled. * Think you can keep up with me, Foxy-boy?*, she thought. She took off quickly and hovered a bit away, but not too far. She started doing graceful spins, twirls, dives, and pieroettes.(I don't remember how to spell it, but you get the point). After she was done with her little arial display she hovered, smirking at Gold's shocked face. *What's wrong Foxy-boy? Can't you do this stuff too? Show me what you got*, she thought, playfully. She knew he was going to do something in retailiation, but she simply hovered, waiting for him.

Gold smirked challengingly. (Oh and it's 'pirouette' I think... I dunno... Spellcheck...)

He let his golden wings stretch all the way out, and they were shining in the suset. He darted in the sky, making unreal turns and graceful spins, basically just topping off what Angel did. He stopped as it began to rain.

"Awwww, no fair!! I wasn't done yet!"

He flew down and lifted Angel, flying back to the room with her, keeping her dry. He knocked on the locked bathroom door, to recieve no response. He frowned and sat on the bed with Angel.

"Uh-oh... It's really bad... He almost never does this... That must've really gotten to him..."

He looked around.

"Where'd Julie go?? She should know not to leave him alone... He might do something crazy like--"

Gold broke off, wide-eyed, and burst through the door.

"Brother what are you doing!?"

~~~~~
Silver heard a knock on the door, but it was not Julie, it was Gold. He said nothing. He turned off the shower but left the fan on, needing the noise to drown out any noises he makes. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, sad. His amethyst eyes were darkened to a midnight purple, his un-combed hir hanging wildly over his eyes and face. He looked at his body, his bones visible from lack of eating. He was alone now. He reclothed himself and frowned. He then stood before the mirror, holding one of his knives, pointing it at his wrist, and--
Silverjumped as a loud crash came from behind him. Gold bashed the door open.
~~~~~

Gold smacked the knife out of Silver's hand, away from his wrist. Gold roughly forced Silver's wrists up to check them. Long tears and scars, new and old, some openings fresh, all on his wrists. Gold grabbed Silver's shoulders and shook him.

"Silver, I told you never to do that!!"

Silver said nothing, his face well-concealed under his wet hair. Water dripped from him, but Gold knew half of it was tears. Silver hopped the window and ran to the forest, alone.

Angel laughed as Gold topped what she had done. He whined when it started to rain. He flew above her, keeping her dry. She sat on the bed and fluffed her feathers, shaking off any water. She heard Gold bang on the door. Then when she was brushing her hair and her hair was in her face, she heard Gold break the door down and yelled at his brother. Angel's head snapped up, her hair going everywhere as she saw Silver go out into the forest alone. But not before she got a glimpse of what had set Gold off. Blood. Silver had been cutting his wrists. She was angry at Julie now. "Julie left. She didn't say where and I can't find her...", Angel trailed off. It had been raining. Now it was snowing? In the middle of July? "Gold, you've been here longer, is it supposed to snow in July? ", She asked. She sent a thought to Julie. *Julie, you need to fly your little angel butt back here now! Silver went missing after Gold found him cutting his wrists open. He needs you Julie! He needs you bad! I can't go after him and neither can Gold. Please!* She had to keep Gold there. She knew only way to distract him. Angel put her arms around Gold and kissed him senseless.

~~~~~
Gold watched in disbelief.
"Brother, it's raining, don't--"
Silver was already long gone. Gold frowned and sat by Angel, holding her close.
"Did you see his wrists...? I can't believe he's started that again..."
~~~~~

Silver found a tree with strong branches, so he hid in the higher-up branches, not wanting to be found. He shakily stared at his bleeding wrists, watching the red rain mix with the transparent rain, hitting the ground. His shining blue tears mixed intoo, making the ground purple.

~~~~~
Gold sighed, extremely worried.
"He's not going to listen to anyone except Julie... If she can even find him..."
Gold was truly upset. "Yes I saw. I could also smell the blood. Silver will be alright. Shhhhh.", Angel said, massaging his shoulders again, stopping every 4 minutes to kiss his neck lightly. She did what she could to help Gold. Just being there to love him and show him that someone does care about him. "Maybe we can go out dancing sometime. Or we can dance now, since we're alone.", She said
Gold shook his head, all he could do was stare out the window. The broothers were closer than anything, and this obviously caused much pain. Gold was worried sick, seeming like he was in a state of shock. He was.
Gold was in shock. He wasn't going to do or say anything until Silver was found. Angel got up, grabbed a couple slices of pizza and some coke and sat next to Gold, eating in silence. She could do no more for him, instilling that helpless feeling once more. She watched out the window.*Please Silver, be ok. Gold's in shock and he's not listening. I'm scared.*, she thought, hoping Silver might hear her.
Gold wanted to cry, but that was rarely in his nature. He was stunned. He vaguely remembered what happened. After they tore apart the angel for making them kill their parents. The Adamanta was talking to them. He told them horrifying things. He was the one who told Silver about 'cutting', which eventually he started doing, but Gold made him stop. And now it's started again.
Gold was worried, and could do nothing. It was like being in the waiting room, staring at the ER waiting for a doctor to come tell you if they're dead or not.
Gold whimpered a bit and layed down on his side, his head resting on Angel's lap, while he could do no more than watch outside and wait.
