Rikki stretched, then put her hands on her hips. She sighed. "These things are gonna be sore for a while." she said turning her head to see her wings a bit. She huffed in annoyance. "I still can't believe that damned Light Angel did that! And they teach people that we're the bad guys!" she grumbled to herself.
Suddenly, a beeping sound came from her pocket. It was her communication device, the one to contact Trainer. She pressed a button on it, and Trainer's face appeared.
"Trainer! I've been meaning to update you on our status." she took in a breath. "Angel changed sides. She's hanging out with the Light Angels. I read her mind. How the hell do you fall in love with someone in a day? I mean. . ." she stopped and clenched her fist. "On a more, positive note, me and Alex found someone to give us a hand." she said, sending a glance towards Raike.
"Oh. Ah, Rikki, I've been able to gather some information on the person you're searching for." Trainer said.
"Really? Well, tell me! I need to know what I'm looking for." she said, grinning.
"Well, this may not be much help, but due to the time frame in which the heir was born, they ought to be between the ages of sixteen and nineteen. I'm working on narrowing it down, but so far, that's as close as I can get." Trainer stopped for a minute, seeming to consider something.
Rikki furrowed her brow. "What's wrong?"
"We've. . we've found a message for you . . . from your father." Trainer said cautiously.
Rikki shook her head, rolling her eyes. "I don't care! Why does he choose to speak to me now?! Why leave me some message? If he had something to say, why didn't he say it while he was alive?" she clenched her fist tighter, "I don't want to hear it. Just get rid of it." she said and pressed the off button on the device, stuffing it in her pocket.
She huffed, crossing her arms. Honestly, she was pissed. She put a hand to her head, taking in slow breaths, but they weren't doing her any good. She plopped back down on the roof, folding her legs up to her chest, crossing her arms, and burying her head in her arms. Stupid father.
