Rikki just shook her head. "I kinda figured you would do that." she sighed.

She put her hand to her back, pulling an arrow. With another sigh, she jumped up, pulling her wings out. She readied her arrow, which she has been doing for many years and closed her eyes. She let go of the arrow, and pulled her wings in, letting her drop to the ground. With that, she sat on the ground. She knew exactly what she was doing.

(OOC: Yes, I know short. I may not be very good at fight scene's, but I do have a plan!)

As the arrow approached Alex, he quickly opened his eyes and repelled it with the still sheathed Adamanta. Alex ran towards the now sitting Rikki and struck her with a few blows of the sheathed sword. It may not have been sharp, but if the attacks hit her, they would be pretty damaging nonetheless, in a bruising sort of manner. Alex flung his attacks at her.

( OOC Whatever you say. :) )

With a smirk, Rikki jumped backwards, aiming a kick at Alex. She didn't particularly care if she actually kicked him her not, she just wanted to avoid getting hit, mainly getting hit in a certain place. Even though she missed a majority of the hits, she still managed to catch a few, one of them wound up hitting her arm.

She hissed, grabbing her arm. "Damn it." she grumbled. "Seriously?" she was more talking to herself. She was really regretting doing that to her arm now.

She huffed. "Alright, that might be a problem." she pulled out another arrow, but didn't aim it. She jumped, doing a quick scan of the field, and landed on a branch of one of the trees. She winced a little at the places he had hit.

Alex expected her to fight back, but she seemed to be pulling herself more back. Either that, or she was injured. Alex sighed. He could feel Adamanta pulsating in his hands, trying to get free. He couldn't let this continue. He had to put a stop to this.

Forgive me for what I'm about to do, Alex thought to himself. He pulled out Adamanta out of it's sheath. Instantly, it attained its familiar form of a giant black blade with a giant eye slowly opening in the center. Alex aimed at Rikki, and fired a powerful sword blast. Adamanta hissed through the air as the blade beam roared through the air. Multiple trees and their branches were instantly evaporated by the very heat of the attack. The others were sliced perfectly. The attack, however, was not aimed directly at Rikki, as by Alex's intention, so although she should be relatively damaged after the attack, she should still be alive. He hoped. Adamanta has been know to go overboard sometimes. He just hoped this wasn't one of those times.

Rikki groaned a little. Well, that sure hurt like hell. She looked up from where she currently was, on the ground, and glared at him a little. She was hurting pretty bad. I can't lose though. No way.

Rikki knew that maybe if one spot hurt worse than the rest, then she might be able to handle it. Oh, I'm gonna regret this later. She clenched her fist, like she had done before, and focused on her right arm. She let it go on, warming up, and even held it out longer than last time. She screamed a little, but bit down on her lip, trying to keep herself quiet. She unclenched her fist, and leaned back for a minute, then looked at her arm. She had actually drawn some blood that time.

She stood up, she was in a lot of pain, but her arm was hurting worse than everything else, she'd live.

"I'm not, losing, that easily." she said, breathing hard.

(OOC: gotta go)

((-trumpet sounds- Here I come to save the daaaaaay))

-One second Rikki was there, the next half-second, she was a few meters to the left, just barely enough to avoid that sword blast. If someone would have been able to slow it down about 1000000X they might just barely have seen Raike run in to pick Rikki up and jump to the side. His headphones still on his shoulders, and ipod in his pocket, and he was wearing the same straight face. His jacket rippled violently with the speed that he was traveling at. That was a majorly fast attack though, and even Raike couldn't entirely avoid it. When he landed, he stumbled and fell as his left leg gave out, causing to impact with the ground on his side, but he was still able to shield her from the fall with his body.-

"S-****... my leg. Rikki, you need to be much more god**** careful. And stop burning yourself, it's as bad as cutting yourself."

(Jebus!! Here, I'll spice things up on Silver's part. Also, Fearless, if ya don't mind it, this could totally end up being a book I write... :D so many twists and turns!)

Silver let out a whimper as Rikkilyn suddenly bolted off to the skies, leaving him abandoned. He whimpered again as he looked around. He had no idea where he was, he wasn't paying attention, and he expected Rikkilyn to lead him back. He looked at the sky: she was long gone by now...

Silver began to pad down the street, tail hanging, ears folded, sad looking. He stopped suddenly as two voices sounded behind him.

"Hey, let's get this one!!" said the first man.

I... I know that voice...

His fur was rising but he listened in hopes of recognizing it.

"Nah, look at 'im! He ain't got no meat oh 'im, he's all bones!!" replied the other man.

"Trust me, I've seen this 'dog' fight before, and it wasn't pretty, Mack."

Silver realized it slowly. Only one time had he ever fought as a wolf, in this lifetime: retalliating against the man the made him kill his mother! That man was dead now, but this is the man from the crowd, who suggested the king and queen die by their children's hands.

"Well, if ya say so..." Said Mack, half-believing him."I trust your word, Bill."

Silver had it figured out. One was the light angel, the other a plain, rather stupid human. They were going to put him in dogfights. He was just about to run when he was grabbed by both men, and one of them, probably Bob, kept him by the throat and kept his muzzle shut. He felt pain all over and let out a loud shrieking whimper, that echoed in th city, and he blacked out. He was unconscious as they tossed him into the back of the van and drove off...

(There we go, add animal abuse to the story, along with some extended conflict... :/ )

(Holy crap, I'm off for a night and you guys add almost a whole page!)

Angel felt it when Rikki got hurt. She hissed in anger. "Oh hell no. I am NOT missing this!". She grew her wings, grabbed her sword and, with a small salute, jumped out the window and took off. She quickly located the dualing angels, and hovered there. She knew Rikki well, and she knew Rikki wouldn't stop until either she or Alex couldn't fight. *Hey Rikki, I'm up here if you need me. You honestly didn't think I was going to let you have all the fun, now did you?*, She thought. Then she heard Silver shriek, and sent a quick I'll be right back thought to Rikki. She arrived in time to find Silver thrown into the back of a van and the van driving off. She growled angerly. She didn't think twice about what she was going to do. She dove toward the front of the van, landing on the hood. *You have something that doesn't belong to you*, she sent to them. She stabbed her sword through the hood, into the engine. The van stopped rather violently. She pulled her sword free and jumped down. She didn't try and hide her wings. "Come out and play, my little friends", she said, her voice low and dangerous. *Silver? Silver, can you hear me? It's Angel, I'm going to get you out, I promise*, She thought to him.

The two men in the van were laughing at the girl's attempts to stop them. Or rather, the illusions of the two men were laughing. Suddenly, the men, the van, everything vanished at once. The real van was far off, possibly in an entirely different city.

Silver was unconscious but he could hear their voices.

"I'm telling you, we enter him and we'll win every time, Mack!" Bill said rather excitedly.

"H-he doesn't look like he wants ta fight, Bill, how can he win if he don't fight nothin'?" Asked Mack, his voice stupidly curious.

"Well, if he won't fight, maybe we'll have to... Persuade him..." Bill laughed darkly.

"Uh, I don't think he wants ta talk nicely, Bill..."

Bill facepalmed. Obviously Mack did not get it. They began talking about different methods of torture, while driving off. They were long gone by now...

Angel shook her head as the van dissapeared. She let out a roar of rage, not only at the men but at her own stupidity. *I'm sorry, Gold, but I have to go after them. I won't let Silver be hurt like that again.*, She thought, remembering the nightmare she had been shown. She flew off, searching for Silver's scent. She flew faster than she had ever flown before. If Silver got hurt, Angel would never, ever forgive herself for it. She caught the thoughts of, We have different methods of torture. She shook her head and followed those trains of thought. Unfortunatly, Angel discovered that there were a lot of vans on the highway. *Which one is it?!*, she thought. She cloaked herself so other people couldn't see her. She found the van, after a while. She managed to open one of the back doors enough to slip in. She shape shifted into a black wolf. She nosed Silver's side, whining quietly, "Wake up. You have to wake up now. Come on". She wasn't about to leave him in the hands of these men. *You were there for me when I needed someone. Now I'm here for you. I will take you back to Julie and Gold and Rikki, I promise.*, She thought. She laid down next to Silver, her head over his neck, in a protective posture.

Bill sensed he coming, and grabbed her wolf-form by the throat.

"I anticipated we'd be followed, now stop trying, or it will end terribly for both of you."

He threw her from the window and took off at full speed as she tumbled on the road, cars whizzing by quickly. He swerved away in traffic, covering his tracks, blocking all thoughts. If any of them could find him, there would be no help, and it would be almost impossible to find them, they were heading to the next city over. The angels would have as much luck finding them as any human would, powers would not help find him, this was Bill's ability.

Angel hit the road, hard. Bones broke, possibly in many places. She managed to shield herself enough to get into the sky and fly back to the hotel. She was in too much pain to shift into her full normal form. She was a black wolf with purple wings. She limped in through the front door and went to the elevator. She limped to the door and nosed it open. She managed a few more steps before collapsing completely. She was howling in pain. Some of her bones were poking through her skin. She was panting hard, a small trickle of blood coming out of her nose. *G-Gold...S-Silver....g-gone...d-dog....f-fights.....B-Bill...*She thought. She was fighting to remain concious. She had rocks in her side, from when she had hit on a gravel part. *C-can't.....f-follow....S-Silver....g-get....h-hurt* Glowing pink tears mixed with her blood.

Gold jumped when he lost connection with his brother.

Brother, what are you trying to--

He was stopped in his thoughts by Angel, severe pain waving from her, and panic tinging her scent. He went to her, his eyes huge with shock, worry, and fear.

"S-sshh... We can't do anything until you're fixed up..."

He took her in onto a bed, using an old unused blanket. He placed her gently and then touched her forehead with a glowing hand, closing her eyes and making her fall into sleep. He operated as she slept, fixing the bones, stopping bleeding, wrapping her. As she awoke, he turned to a fox and cuddled into her.

"I'm all done... But try not to move too much, you will tire easily..."

Angel felt better as she woke up. She looked at the gold fox that was snuggled into her side. She licked the top of his head, tears falling as she remembered that she had failed. "I-I promised h-him I would g-get him h-home safely", She said. She covered her muzzle with her long paws, hiding her eyes.

Gold sighed and continued to nuzzle her, looking stressed.

"Sshh, sshh..."

He shushed her, trying to make her relax.

"You have to tell me what happened, I have no idea what happened. You just showed up at our door, half-destroyed!! You were bleeding, and your bones were out..."

He shuddered and repressed the image.

"I hate seeing you hurt like that... What happened?"

He asked again.

(Ugh, short post... We need others to post.)

Angel sighed. "I heard Silver shriek in pain, and I saw him get tossed into the back of a van. I stabbed the van's engine with my sword and then it just dissappeared. I followed Silver's scent to the highway, which by the way has a ton of vans, and finally found it after 10-15 minutes. I opened the back door and slipped in as a wolf, and I nudged him, trying to wake him up. Then the man, Bill, grabbed me by my throat and said that if I tried to follow them again, it would end badly for both of us. Then he procceeded to throw me out the window at full speed. I cloaked myself and flew back here. I went through the front door. Bill said something about making Silver be in a dog fight. I'm so sorry I couldn't get him back. I tried so hard", she said. She was holding in her tears. She knew that her crying was stressing Gold out a lot."And that is what happened." She got up, more hungry than before, if that was even possible anymore. She walked slowly to the fridge and nosed it open. She grabbed a bottle of cherry coke and a container of yogurt and held them in her mouth, careful not to bite down on the objects. She jumped back onto the bed.

Rikki cursed under her breath. This was her fight. Her battle. Her challenge. But oddly enough, she was glad he had been there to help. But she needed to beat Alex fair and square, and this wasn't exactly fair.

"I didn't need your help Raike." she said, wincing at her arm. She groaned, "I'm already regretting that." she mumbled.

She looked over at Raike, switching her view from him to Alex and back again. She sighed. "You okay? That seems like it hurt pretty bad." Rikki said, putting her attention on Raike. She didn't think Alex would attack her during this state, but she couldn't be sure.

She looked down at her arm, and at the blood that was covering quite a bit of it. She wiped one of her hands across her arm, and yellped. She wiped the blood from her hand off on her clothes, still staring at her arm.

"I'm really screwed up, aren't I?" she said, still running her hand over her arm.

Suddenly, Rikki heard something, and it sounded like a howl. She furrowed her brows, then jumped in surprise. Silver! She'd just left Silver there. Unintentionally, but she had done it all the same. She closed her eyes and searched for his mind pattern.

Silver! Silver, are you okay?

Alex sighed, and shook his head. He pulled the sword back into its sheath, and grabbed his guitar. He shot a look at Raike, and then at Rikki.

Alex smiled a bit. "You know, you're names are awfully similar. Well never mind about that. I consider this a win. You're about to leave, no doubt. I don't think you're in any condition to fight." Alex's smile disappeared. He forced back any words of comfort he was going to say. Instead, he shot them both a cold look.

"Rikkilyn, I win, so I want you to leave me alone, both in my mind, and me in person. I pray we don't run into each other again."

Alex slung his guitar over his shoulder and began to calmly walk off.

Rikki took in a breath and closed her eyes. She kinda figured that. Somehow, she knew she was going to lose anyway.

Alright Alex, you're right. I lost, fair and square. I'll stick to my word. This'll be the last time I'll contact you. I won't listen to your mind. I'll leave you alone. I don't understand why, but I'll do it. I'm sorry to have bothered you. . . . .I love you. Bye.

Rikki just sat there, looking at her arm. She really was screwing herself up. Mentally as well. She sighed, falling onto her back. She put her good arm over her eyes, and let her hurt arm rest on her stomach.

"Oh, I am so stupid." she mumbled to herself, sighing again.

Alex paused for a second. He had been walked casually before receiving a final message from Rikki.

Familiar pain shot out of Alex's hand and Adamanta's eye opened up on his palm, like before. Adamanta's projection popped up. The projection calmly looked at Alex and spoke.

"Just when did this all start happening? Did I hear correctly, Alex? I love you? Does this girl have a problem or something?"

Alex merely shrugged. He was unsure where this came from as well. For as long as he remembered, Rikki and him weren't that close, and she actually tended to get under his skin constantly.

"I don't know, Adamanta, I just don't know." Alex facepalmed himself. "Damn it. I lost track of what I was doing here to begin with! That damn kid Raike! I was after him, and he was here! What the hell is wrong with me?!" Alex proceeded to run back in the direction towards Rikki and Raike.

Adamanta laughed a bit, "Well this is gonna look stupid."

Alex smiled a bit too. Yea no kidding, he thought to himself. Alex continued running back after those two and caught up to them.

"Uh, look this may look really, really weird, but I actually came to fight not to say I didn't want to see you ever again....ha...ha..I actually kinda came for him." Alex pointed at Raike.

"So, uh, do you mind coming with me, Raike?" Alex's face was a little bit red. He tried not looking at Rikki.
