    Date a Live II

    Shido Itsuka, who used to be a normal high school student at Raizen High, meets the first Spirit, Tohka, and awakens his power to "seal the Spirit's power". Though they may be feared and hated beings due to their immense power, Spirits were always alone and knew only combat and death. Shido, the only one in the world with the power to seal the Spirits' might, hurls himself into life-threatening dates with the beautiful Spirits in order to save them.

    Pretty much Date a Kurumi II LOL.

    Ahh. I'm enjoying Date a Live II so far. At first, I was shaky as the first episode seemed rather poorly done, and how it didn't even bother to mention that Kurumi was talking to Phantom. But it did pick up for episodes three and four (although I'm pretty sure that they skipped an important scene for the Reine/Origami vs Bandersnatchs).

    The Yamai arc was decently adapted, and I was glad the animation for both Kaguya and Yuzuru, looked much better than they did in the anime's key art. Was also happy with the voices for both Kaguya and Yuzuru. As of now, the Miku arc seems to progressing fine, and I'm not too worried on how they'll adapt the later parts of it. Although, I'm not really on board with Minori Chihara as Miku.

    Well, ten episodes is probably for the best. Although, I was expecting twelve episodes at first for four episodes for each arc. But, having three for each seems to be working fine.
     
    Date A Live II has now ended! We end it off with a nice song from Miku, except she should be in a maid costume not in her idol, but whatever. Also, unlike last time a season three hasn't been confirmed, instead we have a movie. What is it about? Who knows. I hope to god that it isn't a recap movie of any of the seasons. Instead I want the movie to be based off of -Rinne Utopia- (Satoshi would love this so so so so so much) or -Ars Install-.

    Also, I'm not fond on how the anime handled Shido's epic usage of two Angels at once. Heck, even the PV version is better.

    Only Rinne's route? I know she's basically the True Ending route of the game. But Kotori has a nice route too!

    Ugh. They ruined such a perfectly nice scene. They also can't get Sandalphon's size correct. Is it small? Is it large? Who knows.

    That last episode was kind of a really cliche way to finish up the season.
    Honestly, they could have done the twelve episodes and elaborated on Tohka's inversion :(

    DAL III will be announced really soon. So much stuff needs answering.

    Looks like they'll take care of Kurumi soon.

    And I really want to see Natsumi animated :o
     
    Tohka's Inverse? There isn't much too elaborate upon. The anime pretty much covered everything known about it at the point of the series, with the exception of Isaac mentioning that an Inverse form is a Spirit's true form, unless that's in a later volume, then whoops. xD

    Anyways, I wanted Date A Live II to be twelve episodes as well. But I just wanted better pacing in general, and more care in some of the little hints the series actually drops. Of course, I can say the same for the first season as well. Like, the biggest thing that anime adaptation of the first season completely skipped over was this little tid bit.

    I'm definitely eager to see Natsumi animated too. But, I shouldn't overhype myself, haha. Tsunako's art doesn't seem to transfer too well with the character designer of the anime.

    She may have, but... that route doesn't have HER =D
    Well... Rinne opens only after finishing each girl route so... I would see it anyways =D (Plus, I would want to Platinum it =D)

    This season has not enough Kurumi. I demand an OVA based on Kurumi Festival for justice!

    /end rant

    Overall good first few episodes in this season, but kinda dwindled in terms of quality towards the end. I liked this season's OP and ED songs more than the 1st season's though. :)

    It'll have a third season. And I'm pretty sure there'll be tons of Kurumi in it. Either that, or she'll probably be the first or second spirit next season. If the keep dragging it on, it'll be pretty crazy.
