David Lynch

I was reading about the director's death this week, and wondering if anyone else on the forum found him interesting.

While his style isn't for everyone, I liked his slow-paced, odd nightmarish tales. I have seen quite a few of his films- Eraserhead, Lost Highway, Dune, Mulholland Drive, Elephant Man and Inland Empire. Also watched some of the Twin Peaks TV series.

Thoughts on Lynch?

I plan to do a rewatch of the OG run of Twin Peaks. I think it was interesting.

I loved Lynch's work and especially his influence on Alan Wake and other games. I'll be watching some of his work later this month when I have more time.

I found out today that a local art house movie theater will be showing Blue Velvet this Saturday night in memoriam. I want to go to this screening.

I watched and enjoyed Twin Peaks and have heard nothing but praise for his work from others, but I honestly can't say I'm very familiar with most of his work. Feels like I'll have to change that at some point.
