    I've gotten super hyped in the last couple days hahaha, I'm just keen to relive my childhood and remember the feeling of playing the games in its entirety. My old Blue cartridge got corrupted when I was like 8 or 9 so I haven't been able to play it properly since then, so it'll be cool to go through the game and reminisce. I'm super excited to download it at midnight tonight and play it till the Direct starts at 2am hahaha, just to remember those feelings in RBY's natural form as opposed to playing the remakes or playing it on an emulator on a laptop.
     
    I'll plug my headset and listen to the sweet OST or this generation... I'll try to use Pokemon I've never really use before. I don't want to beat this game quickly (I can't as I have many works to do in the next weeks). I want to really enjoy all details of the game.

    With the Roms and the speed up thing, I've kinda lost this aspect of the oldest generations.
     
    I'm so stupidly hyped to be able to send my mons from Gen I to Gen VII via the Bank. I want to pull off a mew trick and then send over the treasure :'D

    Also finally being able to play Red. Never did!

    I've been hyped all month. I've been in a funk where I haven't wanted to play Pokemon for months and the urge started to hit me around the beginning of the month, but I've been saving the hype for the RBY release tomorrow so. :) I'm gonna go ham on Red when I download it. I also get to work tomorrow for the anniversary so I'm gonna be all decked out in Pokemon swag. 8)

    So basically, I'm most excited to end this patience thing. It's starting to wear thin, haha.
     
    Incidentally, I need to sit and decide which version and language I'm choosing. It's a harder decision than you think! The first time I played it, it was an English Red a friend had brought from a travel to the US. We couldn't understand a word and we kept burning Pidgeys in route 22 while wondering how the hell to get past through coffee man. I'd like to take that for nostalgia, but- Pokémon Azul, man. I still have the box and the cartridge. Hmmm.
     
    I think... the sprites. Seeing all the old sprites via this post and people's themes has made me really want to see them again. I'm so used to the new sprites and how Pokemon look now that I've sort of forgotten what they previously looked like so that'll be interesting.
