    This is so sad =[

Jimmy was just 28 years and the band was working on their fifth album but he had not enough time for the album and passed away before drumming for his latest album. The band has paid its condolence towards the jimmy and also has requested the fans to not disturb his family in the time of grief. N the official website of the band, they wrote and confirmed the death of Jimmy. They wrote that we are telling you with heavy hearts and great grief that Jimmy, The Rev" has been passed away. They say he was the best drummer of the world but besides that he was the best friend and brother of the band.

He was an amazing drummer and now I am going to go listen to all of the albums.
    *Sniff sniff*

    RIP!

And if you didn't know him, this is him in action:

Avenged Sevenfold was an amazing band to me, as well. Sad that he passed away. I hope they find a new drummer. :(

In memory of "The Rev," I'm going to listen to their songs.

This sucks ass. A7X is one of my favorite bands. Did they say how he died?

    City of Evil <3

This was horrible. I actually live in Southern California so they covered it shortly on the news.
I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news last night. I've always loved a7x; they were my life all through middle school. I've been listening to my favorites all day, especially the City of Evil and Sounding the Seventh Trumpet Albums.

    Jimmy will be missed♥

It's so tragic, he died at 28. I mean it also was natural causes I read...I was actually listening to one of their earlier albums, City of Evil, when he died.

I hate Avenged Sevenfold, but this is pretty shocking to hear as they are a mainstream band. Actually, I got first word from the band Mushroomhead, but whatever.

RIP. Your band is going to have a lot of recovering to do.

This is a good point, they are mainstream and overrated (though I have to admit liking some of their songs...). However, LoG has played at a couple of the same events as them. =P

It's a shame, too. If his behind the scenes videos on Live at the LBC was in is true personality then he was a great guy and if he weren't famous we probably would've got on. He was more talented than the rest of the band too, even you'd have to admit his drums on songs like 'Beast and the Harlot' were great.

    RIP. :(

This was a shock to me when I found out yesterday. A7X is one of my favourite bands and The Rev was just awesome. The band won't be the same without him.

My thoughts go out to his family.

    RIP

I really enjoyed his drumming, he was a great drummer despite, whether you like the band or not.

I listened to the whole "Waking The Fallen" album in honor of him.

No way man, not The Rev =[
He was the genius behind so many of thier songs. So young too, he was a cool guy, a talented guy, I doubt that he'll ever be replaced in A7X, not really.
    RIP.

Still no word on any other possible reasons for his death; think it will just be left as 'Natural Causes'.

Though, what is so natural about dying at 28? :/

I'm no fan of A7X, but this is tragic to hear and will certainly affect the band greatly. Good luck to them.

    Rest in peace.
