Welcome to a PC Edition of Screw These Comics. Today, I'm going to review various entries in the sprite contest for December. Remember: I am not an official judge. I am just pointing out errors to help you improve your work. I do not mean to harm anyone's feelings with this.

Unless we're hired by Jedi Amara at a later date.

OK.... On with the sprites! First we're reviewing some entries in Section A.

The sucky recolor group?

Why are the cheeks blue?

Maybe when red stuff becomes sunburned it turns blue... I don't know. I've never seen anything with red skin be sunburned so I wouldn't know.

From what I can tell, the elf hat is made from scratch and its quite nice, though it is missing shading.

How do you know its an elf hat?

Elves wear green, that's why they suck. Overall a decent sprite. ggnore.

Of course you don't you dult, it's a Sandshrew with a claw.

Based on what they called Santa Claus in The Nightmare Before Christmas...

Ok, so he put a claw on Sandshrew, moved its arm a little, and colored it's belly brown. Simple yet it gets its job done.

He didn't mess up the claw or anything so it makes it on the decent list. Come on let us "rate" a bad one!

Now why'd we want to rate a bad one?

Wait, wasn't it supposed to be Christmas themed?

Christmas in Austrailia, where it is summer during Christmas.

Though it is missing the Christmas element...

OK, so what we have here is an Electabuzz with the main hero's hat copy/pasted on, stripes painted green, and a blue swimsuit.

And a pineapple.

And a pineapple... There is no shading on the swimsuit...

Which better not be a Speedo...

No shading on the non-Speedo swimsuit, or on the sprites. Various places seem to be missing the outline, same with the pineapple. The hat is coming through its antennaes...

Why must we point out all errors?

It's our job I put upon us. Correct all their mistakes so they hopefully don't make them again. And have some fun mocking them on the way.

Why are the stripes green anyways? Is he a radioactive Electabuzz.

You fool! That's cryptonite on him! He's the key to defeating Superman!

I thought he was jsut sick. Oh an something else I noticed and just confirmed real quick. The resizing is off. He didn't use a multiple of 100 to resize it.

At least it isn't horrible squished or anything, it's something barely noticable at least. I chalk the sprite down as 'needs improvement.'

Gee I didn't expect an argument to start! ^_^;;;
The green bolts were to make it a bit more intersting. IMO, it would've looked more boring with black. Also, the green stripes represented Christmas Trees. XD
BTW, they ARE speedos.

I think that your electabuzz looked good... How long have you been spriting?? Ive only been spriting about three weeks.. It may be shorter or longer by about a week but yeah. I think mine are horrible... Well anyways... I dont do that good of work.... I really like my koala though.. its the first thing ive ever done by scratch... i figured i could at least try.... its not got anything to do with christmas but i stayed with the australia thing though... lol... well anyways... ill go and you write back people... okay i love you ... bye... smuahhhh... I LOVE YOU ALL......

Not an argument, not dissing sprites, or not complementing either. Just pointing out errors (and things I thought were weird) so you could fix them in future works and grow to be better spriters. ^.^;; And an Electabuzz in Speedoes will give me nightmares. XD

Section A is for sprites that are recoloured or something is added to it.
Section B is for sprites that are made from scratch.

My section B sprite really is kinda weird. It was meant to be a Kangaroo Pokemon with a Santa hat and green wings, but now it just seems demented and weird. I could've made a better one, but I thought a Kangaroo would be good for the Down-Under part.

Destruction PP: 10



Horn drill: 1 hit k.o.



Earthquake: very powerful land atk



Omega beam: the last move any omega learns it will kill any pokemon in one hit and cannot be evaded



Destruction: takes away half of a pokemons hp cannot be evaded



Pokedex entry: this is one of some legendary pokemon known as *omega* pokemon they are almost impossible to get and if anybody has one that person is almost invincible
