Default Avatars

    I was wondering... since the default avatars really.. fail... can the default avatar gallery be updated by the staff or can supporters contribute some?
     
    'kay then how about the others? You can't seriously say all of them are perfect.

    I think most of the avatars that ARE in the gallery are nice, but the selection is limited. We need moar anime ones. (From various anime shows of course)
     
    Yeah I meant a lot of them and not all. ['cuz I like the default I'm using :3]

    And. The last (?) selection... ruby and sapphire characters is really bad.
     
    That's what I've been basically saying~

    Let's add some new ones into the mix to freshen up the collection a bit and add some appreciation for the classics~
     
    We've had the same avatars for a while,some nice new ones would be great.
     
    I Personally think a "pokedex" of all the pokemon in avatar form would be the best approach.
    The drop-down list could have every pokemon in alphabetical or numberical order, and each pokemon could have several avatars.
    I Think that this would allow users old and new a bigger selection with the ability to choose an avatar that represents them best. thats what avatars are about!
    as for the anime characters, its not a bad idea, but this is a pokemon forum, so i dont think they'd get used as much, since mainly newcomers use the onboard avatars, and more experienced pc users get our skilled artists to make them one- usually with a matching sig.
    However, if there is demand for it, then you might have caught on to a good idea?
     
    I think all the supporters should start using the default avatars just for fun.

    Or we could create a 'special' set of defaults exclusively for supporters. :O
     
    I think that's a good idea. "If you support, you get more avatars 8D"
     
    All the current default avatars aren't suited to anyone though.

    I even saw a 180 x 180, so I think they're meant for all and if there was a supporter one, there would have to be a mod, etc one or-- yeah, we should totally do that. XD
     
    I have a few avatars saved from anime screens... not many though. :\ Personally I think we're fine as is but I never use them so what's my opinion good for?
