    I'm really excited for this movie, since the Japanese trailer was fantastic, and there will definitely be a lot of action in this one.

    So when is it coming out in English anyways?

    It's going to have a sad ending :(
     
    Most likely during Feb. Serebii announced that after the Tag Battle special episodes, there will be a sneak preview of the movie. (Movie preview announcement by Cartoon Network.)

    This will all take place next Friday, February 1st. Most likely, the movie will too be released within the month.
     
    Yea, I saw today on CN they were advertising that after the Tag Battle episodes they are showing a sneak peak. I -hope- they tell us when it comes out.

    Why do you say it's going to have a sad ending? I haven't really watched the Japanese trailers yet...
     
    it is a sad ending, i've seen the japanese version. well, mostly sad, but i won't spoil it. Darkrai has an awesome voice, though.
     
    What I am surprise nobody has said the dub title of the movie. From what I heard it is The Rise of Darkrai.

    I think it is a good title. Much better then that super long Japanese title. Teeheehee

    It's at least a whole lot more suspenseful, anyway >.>;...

    Really, I also can't wait for this movie, nor for Friday's sneak preview.
     
    Coolies. I can't wait to see the preview on Friday now. Just watching what I saw on that site gave me goosebumps!!! Teeheehee

    I think the title is appropiate. I think from what I saw before it place the focus where it belongs and seeing what I saw from the other coming movie then yeppie. Darkrai got the right thing. Teeheehee
     
    I've watched the english subs version on veoh...I know, I know, I already messed up the whole suspence of it coming out for me :P

    great movie, I thought it was quite intest and suspensful... I too can't wait for "The Rise of Darkrai" even if i've seen it, it'll still be great...
    Friday's sneak, lookes to be a blast :D Im glad it won't be vs vs vs jap title though, the english one's title looks suitable...

    Dialga *coughthe-robot-chickencough* looks amazing in the darkrai teaser against palkia:D I believe it comes out in march? not sure where i heard that, but yeah march right?

    it doesn't really have anything to do with the plot. Believe me, i've seen it, and it's not about how darkrai comes to be, rises, or whatever. it doesn't make much sense when you think about it. The whole movie is really about Dialga and Palkia duking it out and Darkrai trying to stop them.

    Well I believe the next movie afterwards weil be a followup of this one, so maybe that is what they are referring to..."the rise" as a way to link the movies maybe, but im not sure about the next movie at all, so maybe not. And it is Darkrais first appearence, it could easily mean that as well.

    Yes, true it doesn't honestly give the plot, but it is somewhat, like how....how do i put this, he is IN the movie, and is a sortof a big part. He is a part by argh i cant say xD

    So "The Rise of Darkrai" in my opinion is fine, not the best option, but it's ok. What would you think as a better name, without revealing the plot?

    now, the japanese was much shorter and, if you ask me, much cooler sounding.

    The rise of Darkrai: The first time we see Darkaii in the movie it rises from ground like the devil.
    The movie is about Darkrai. This is why:
    We know why Dialga and Palkia are fighting (from the introduction), but during the whole movie, we're wondering where Darkrai fits in. It isn't until the end when his true intentions are revealed.

    So you see all the mystery is around Darkrai, which makes the movie about him.

    I'm glad the title is shorter than the Jap version, it's better this way.
     
    hmmm.... you may have a point. But i still don't like the title, it leaves a lot to be desired. Then again, it always does, with the exception of the first movie ('cuz it was the same)

    couldn't they have come up with something more.... ominous? I like ominous titles. Something like "Mystery of Darkrai" or, if you didn't want to be specific, "Myster of the dajrk one" or something along those lines.

    You forgot about the obligatory "Pokemon" in the japanese title. Besides, the "The Power of One" part was the side title, as the only part that actually showed on the video box (or was advertised) was "Pokemon 2000" so it doesn't count. ;)

    Yes, but that's not the full movie title, is it?

    Pokemon 2000 refers to the compilation of the movie and the short film. The power of One refers to the movie part only.

    I for one don't give a... what was it.... Dang, now i forgot my line...... oh yeah!

    I for one don't give a rattata's fart about the minimovies, they all suck... so thus and for all intents and pruposes, I give the title of the movie section as the official title. :P

    Why don't I care? Because we just got the english release date: on Cartoon Network, the night of Sunday, February 24th!!
