4th Gen Diamon, Pearl....then what?

No, that's not a Gemstone. Look-- I'll draw it out for you.

The only argument I may have is that they've always used common names- everyone knows what a diamond is, what a Ruby is, what gold is.... But Girasol? I'ts a very uncommen Gem, I didn't know there was such thing until I came to this thread.

I say we stop guessing of the name and wait a little more than a year before guessing begins. Though I find it more important if they will just skip it to a new series of pokemon.

My guess is Berlitz since pokespecial dp girl is named like that but Girasol isn't half bad.

I probably say that the whole thing if there's a third one coming would have like the whole battle frontier again maybe, and an underground subway to an extension route or something to discover the other legendary (so if diamond we'll go to the subway and find palkia).

it will most likely be pokemon opal with that guy digura or whatever as the main pkmn. But the real question is: what will be different (besides lead pkmn) in this game... Thats what i want to know

It'll probably be Opal, and the main Pokemon Giradina, since according to what we know for Giradina's dex description, it is the counterpart of Diaruga and Parukia

Name origin

Giratina's name may be derived from either guillotine or girasol

I mean, that's part of the 3rd dragon's name! it only makes sense :3

The name is Giratina..

The guessing game? There'd probably be no end one, but Girasol would be a nice guess. I think it's more important that GameFreak develops a different series, however. Besides the glitches we have, I daresay there's nothing so imperfect about it that needs a refreshed version (unless they rehash the Battle Frontier or something).

Haha, that Giratina thing made me laugh :D

But, I think either amethyst, berlitz, or girasol.
Amethyst - Being the fact it's purple, and we're talking about a ghost dragon here.
Plus, Dialga is steel dragon and got diamond.
And Palkia is water dragon and got Pearl(which makes sense).
So I think the color thing works out the best.

Berlitz - It's in the manga, and we know how those have gone so far.
Girasol - The name scheme makes sense to me.

That's my opinion :D

i think it should b pokemon amerist (sp) cauz its my birthstone. and also Giratina would b the focus. but what about firered and leafgreen? did ther have a third one? i think not.
