I like to know, too, cuz I'm not big on a water-type knowing a grass-type move. I guess ice beam would be good...

Best moveset for Swampert, Meganium, Torterra?

Hey guys, I've been looking through Serebii's Pokemon of the Week list, and for pretty one every one it has only one attacking move, and I contantly see Toxic, Protect, and Substitute. What's the reason for that?

Best sight for movesets, bar none.

Because the pokes you have listed are all relatively defensive pokemon, and such moves suit them. Not to mention they're just good moves in general.

does anyone know the next day of an event in UK

can someone please tell me the day of the next uk event for a pokemon

If you were going to post in here, why clog up the forum with an entirely new thread about the exact-same topic?
:|
Anyway, someone provided a link in your thread to the dates of the woolworths darkrai event. Nothing else has been confirmed.

Serebii has updated with new info on platinum but right now Im going to sleep.

I heard someone said... There is no way to raise IV, but if I breed Pokemon, the IV of the baby will be higher than the parents, is that right?

I'd like to go back a little to this question. Your "someone" was half right.
The Basics:
There is no way to raise IVs. Once a Pokémon is born or caught or obtained in any way, its IVs are set in stone.
However:
The IVs of a baby will not necessarily be higher than the IVs of the parents. The baby receives three IVs from the parents. One is chosen from the mother, one from the father, and one chosen randomly from either parent. After these have been chosen, the rest of the IVs are filled in randomly. Because the IVs passed from the parents are semi-random, they may overlap.
So, sure, it's possible to have better IVs than the parents when breeding. But that's only true because it's random. The idea in IV breeding is to start with Pokémon with excellent IVs and see if they will pass them on.

Thanks for answering me, so it is difficult to get a Pokemon with excellent IV right?

It depends on how you go about it. If you just breed randomly, and hope for 31s in the right places, you're going nowhere fast. However, if you get a bunch of Dittos with good IVs (for example, I have a Naive Ditto with 31 Spe and SAtk), things will go MUCH faster.

Whats a good counter for Jolteon with HP Ice.

Camerupt if you can get the Jolteon alone.

What is the max power of Return if the pokemon is at max happiness

102.

Whats a good counter for Jolteon with HP Ice.

Blissey, Cresselia, and Snorlax can all wall Jolteon pretty easily. Swampert can wreck Jolt pretty easily (so long as you're sure it's HP Ice), and Tyranitar can EQ (and Sand Stream ruins Jolt's ability to Sub pretty well).

It doesn't. It's the same for all Pokemon. The only things that affect breeding speed are:

- OT and ID: If the two Pokemon have different OTs or IDs, they will breed faster
- Species: If the two Pokemon are of the same species (i.e. two Eevees), they will breed faster.

And yeah, that's it.

Thanks I've been wondering about that for a while.
