Does that explain the Blaziken couples are hopeless? I can give up breeding them... But can you also explain why I encounter a lv3 Staravia?
 
In the wild, Pokémon often evolve at levels lower than they would in captivity... er, I mean, with a trainer.
 
There's a weird thing that happens when Emerald is inserted. You can find lvl 4 biberel and staravia at the lakes.

Well, that's simply impossible. If two Blazikens of different genders are put into the daycare center, it is absolutely assured that they will breed. You will only get the 'They prefer to play with other Pokemon' message if they won't breed. I don't really know what to tell you. :/

Well I don't care about those 2 chicken now... I'll give up breeding them... Maybe I'll put my king Empoleon with the woman Blaziken instead. x3

I recently discovered that that is a rare glitch that also happens with Bibarel
 
Er.. I have a question, if someone can help me.

You know when you use the Day Care place, and your Pokemon levels up, their moves get replaced right? So in what order do they get replaced, like is it the bottom one that get's replaced when they level up in the Day Care place. Thanks.
 
Where to train?

I need advice on a good training ground for my team, which is as follows:

Monferno Lv. 23
Staravia Lv. 24
Luxio Lv. 23
Roselia Lv. 24
Buizel Lv. 23
Aipom Lv. 23

I'm in Veilstone City and i've only defeated 1 of the trainers in Maylene's Gym. I know i'm no where near strong enough to vs. her, that's why i need a good place to train.

Also, i'm going to switch my Aipom for a Mime Jr. to strengthen my team against fighting types.
 
well, in my opinion i think you should train in the city/town that has the highest level wild pokemon that you have been in
 
The pokemon that you encounter when you leave Solaceon going up are at the perfect level for you.

Nope, I've hatched Pokemon that have had ranges of 6's 7's and 8's =]
 
Not sure If I'm allowed to ask this but can someone give me a link to the new sprites from Pokemon Platinum.​
 
Not all of them have been released. People can only see some of the new sprites through screenshots and stuff. You can find them in Serebii's screenshot gallery of the upcoming Platinum game.
 
Teaching Tyranitar pursuit

How can I teach my Tyranitar pursuit? Is it a TM?
 
Firstly, breeding questions or general questions should be asked in the Q&A thread.

Second, Tyranitar learns pursuit by having its father (Either Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile, Cranidos, Rampardos) have Pursuit, and breeding it onto a Larvitar.

Of course not. A Pokemon's stats are based off of it's Base Stats- it's just that at level 1, there's not a huge difference between said stats, so they all come up as relatively small numbers (excluding Pokemon with huge stats- for example, a baby Chansey hatches with approximately 40 HP). All eggs in D/P hatch at level 1, though.
 
What determines a different coloured Pokemon, for Example:

Gold Geodude

Is it just random luck, when you find it in the wild?
