Dunno if this has been posted yet or not, but can you really catch wild Eevees in the Trophy Garden? I can't seem to get a direct answer.
Yes, but you must talk to Mr. Backlot (Save in front of him) and if he doesn't say Eevee, reset the game, and talk to him again. Continue until he says Eevee.

save the game before you go into his room so you can soft reset. Once he says eevee is in the garden, if you don't go talk to him anymore, eevee will stay in the garden forever so you can catch as many as you want.

how do i work the seal case???

how do i work the seal case???

The Seal Case doesn't really do anything besides tell you how many seals you have. Once you have purchased some seals, go to any Pokemon Center, go to the PC and select "(your name)'s PC". Once that is selected, select Ball Capsules and then you can customize the seals on Pokeballs however you want.

thanks, another thing where is/ is there the lucky egg in diamond?

Wild Chansey may hold them. They're found on Route 209 and 210. They may appear in the Trophy Garden if the owner claims they are visiting in his garden. Chansey have a 5% appearance rate, so before you hunt, you should bring a pokemon with the attack Thief/Covet and/or a pokemon with the ability Compoundeyes at the front of your party to increase your chances at obtaining the item.

If you have wifi, you can easily trade for it.

Those games can't connect, so you can't have your RBY team on Diamond.. Only these can trade:

Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal all via Link Cable

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen via Link Cable/Wireless Adapter, and then you can migrate or permanently transfer over pokemon to Diamond/Pearl.

Can anyone help me out with ev training for sp atk starting at lv 1?

Level 1 is a poor level to train. Your Pokemon will faint to just about anything, even Level 2 Bidoofs. Wait till around Level 20 before even bothering with EV training.

Also, the Old Chateau is the best place to EV train in Sp. Atk. The only Pokemon that appears there are Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar. They all give Sp. Atk EVs. The latter two only appear if you have a GBA game inserted in the DS. Gengar only appears in the room with the weird painting on the 2nd floor.

Another good place for Sp.Attack EVs is Turnback Cave, as you can battle lv 66 Haunters there. (Only attempt if your Pokemon is at a high enough level!!!)

Whoever said that Lv1 is a rubbish Level to EV train is wrong... What about EXP share, or switching out?

Anyway, a quick question o pokerus. If a pokemon with Pokerus holds Macho Brace, does it gain 4 times the amount of EV's it would normally get?

As in 1 EV, x2 (Pokerus) x2 (Macho Brace)

that's what I did, I switched out with macho brace. and to your question I think your right. I would double check on serebii though.

Could someone please expain to me how EV works. I get the basic concept I think, you train against pokemon that have certain values to make a certain stat of your pokemon's raise higher than usual at a level up. What I don't know is, do I have to do this for every level, or when I hit a certain point does it lock in?

Basically, if someone could explain it to me very simply and directly, I'd appreciate it.

Layman's guide to EVs:

Each pokemon comes with an effort value attatched to them, that's the EV. This value is a number between 1 and 3 that corresponds to a stat. For example, a golbat has 3 Speed EV attatched to them

When you defeat that pokemon with your own (We'll use golbat as the example), your pokemon gains effort points equivilant to the beaten poke's EV. So beating a golbat will give you 2 Speed EVs. These points are cummulitive and do not disappear unless they are deliberatly removed with a special berry.

When you gain 4 EVs in a single stat, you get a +1 boost to that stat. Simple.

You can put 255 EVs into a single stat, but only 252 of these are useful, since EVs only apply when divisible by 4 and any leftovers are ignored. A pokemon may only be given 510 EVs in total across all of their stats.

Nature question?

Is there any thread or natures that you guys can specify? I am looking for a nature that give defence and special defence boost but negates speed or something close to that but it has to involve with defence and cannot negate anything else rather than speed, special attack, and attack.
