2nd Gen Did You Catch the Legendary Dogs?

They used to flash up on the map after encountering them. I remember catching all 3 but after A LOT of patience

I caught all three later in the remakes however in my ~10 playthroughs ten to eleven years ago, on the GBC/GBA I didn't. I tried to but whenever I did eventually see them they'd either run away or I'd kill them by mistake.

I always struggled locating and catching them in the originals, in the remakes though not so much.

I've only caught Suicune in Crystal because it's stationary. I never even bother looking for the other two and if I happen to run into them, I just toss a Fast Ball and hope I get lucky.
