Did you know that unless you mix food with saliva, you won't be able to taste it?

How about some stupid laws?

Pennsylvania:

- It it illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors.

- Any motorist driving along a country road at night must stop every mile and send up a rocket signal, wait 10 minutes for the road to be cleared of livestock, and continue.

- You may not sing in the shower.

- It is illegal to catch a fish with any body part other then your mouth.

Here's some stupid laws.

In some parts of Canada, citizens cannot remove their bandages in public.

Good ole Joysee:

- It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder.

- It is against the law for a man to knit during the fishing season...

- You may not slurp your soup.

And in Blairstown...

- No street-side trees may be planted that "obscure the air".

Did you know your mitochondria in your cells generates ATP by using the electron transport chain?

There are a series of complex proteins that use redox reactions on NADH and FADH2 to pump protons out of the mitochondrial matrix and into the intermembrane space, establishing a proton gradient. The proton gradient is then used to power ATP synthase, an enzyme that catalyzes the phosphorylation of ADP + Pi into ATP.
