4th Gen Did You Soft-Reset?

I might SR for a nice-natured Cyndaquil, but that'll probably be it. I don't really care particularly in-game.

For Frontier Pokemon, I can PokeSAV.
 
I think I'll SR for a female totodile and Curtis will SR for a shiny Ho-oh..
 
Im considering SRing for a shiny suicune...

i suppose ill have to use the master ball on that...
 
I will when I get the game on Thursday, but only for the legendaries and interactable pokemon such as Lapras, Sudowoodo and Snorlax.
 
I SR'd 32 times for a female Chikorita, and out of frustration chose Totodile ONCE and it was female! So I kept it. I don't bother SR'ing for natures on starter Pokemon as I will just breed for them anyway. I will SR for good natured Legendaries though. Won't be fun, but will be worth it. Unlike SR'ing for shinies, which definitely isn't worth it.
 
Just for my female Cydnaquil, for sentimental reasons. It only took me a few times. :)
 
I SR'ed about 70 times (yeah only 70 I consider myself really lucky) for a Shiny Cyndaquil, and got one with a Lax nature. Lax is not too bad ingame, I guess.
 
Soft resetting for a Shiny Suicune~

To get out of Morty. To get female Starters and Eevee and shiny guarados.
 
At first , I tried for a shiny Totodile (I just love that colour) but I got bored ! :(

A normal one did though ! A Feraligatr is the same , it doesn't matter ! *drops a tear cuz it's not turqoise*
 
@Toxicroak The OW sprite is shiny.. It's just kinda hard to see.

SRing is not the same as turning the game off and on. It takes way less time. You press Start+Select+L+R (IIRC) to soft reset the game. That means you just reset the game to send you back to the title screen, instead of resetting the entire DS over and over.

I obviously haven't SR'ed anything (EUROPE YAY!!!!!!! thankfully.. only.. three.. days.. left..), but I plan on SRing for a female Cyndaquil with an acceptable nature. (Serious, (insert other neutral natures here) Modest, or Timid.) I also plan on SR'ing for a shiny Suicune because I can seriously not be bothered to do ALL the tedious RNG stuff. I don't have an R4/Acekard either... -.-
 
I'm planning to soft reset for a Red Gyrados at the Lake of Rage when I get there (that was a joke).

Anyways, on Fridays I may spend the whole time trying for a Shiny Lapras.
