Suggestion: Different PC supporter tiers equals different colours...

    Instead of just the regualr plain blue color maybe Pokecommunity could give different coloured username depending on their tier. Here are some of my suggestions.

    Pc supporter teir 1> blue

    PC supporter teir 2> purple

    PC supporter teir3 blue or purple

    PC supporter teir4 a dark blue

    PC supporter teir5 dark purple or dark blue.

    I like the idea but not everyone would want to be stuck with let's say... orange until they donate again to get tier 5 just so they could pick one of the other colours
     
    People already complain about supporter colors, more colors will mean more complaints.
     
    I've been seeing a lot of threads about supporters getting all these ridiculous benefits.
    I'd just like to say that although we have donated that is to say expected nothing in return that we still get lots and lots of perks...

    Styles testing, VIP forum, customize profile, special colored username, etc etc.

    I don't think that supporters need to be on the same level as staff members and get a different color -- just because you donated 5$ more than someone else.
     
    v-v; Guys we have a pretty italic name already... and we have a bunch of other things. I know there could be more supporter perks. There could be ways to other things too, like getting more than just a pat on the head for things like breathing. Again, we don't deserve any of this that we already have. We should be grateful and appreciate what we have and talk it down instead of whining for all the stuff we don't have.

    Is that fifth cookie REALLY better than the first three?
     
    I say no. What it is now is just fine, going into more detail is just being greedy.

    I would like to see a customizable color name, but not only will that not occur for awhile, if ever, I don't expect it to be implemented into the forum.
     
    You support PC because you want to support it. Not so you can get benefits and feel elite amongst members that cant support it. If you really want your name to be a different colour so badly get stylish / greasemonkey and do it yourself.

    Supporters used to have no benefits, and now... urgh. I dont see why we need so much benefits. I only supported because I wanted to support. Not so I could get VIP forum access and not because I wanted to look so good infront of everyone else.
     
    Okay well it gets annoying when all the new supporters want to be mini-staff.

    and why do all the suggestions to do with supporters have to be "increase x" or "give us x"... Why do you think the staff is having a hard time with Tier 6 and its benefits? :/ What we've got is already alot and enough

    I don't like this idea. Considering the fact that one color alone took months to come to a decision upon, I don't think making six completely different colors from each other just for different supporter tiers would really work out. First, it will take a complete thread discussion in the VIP Forum for different color suggestions, then it will be discussed by the higher staff for each of the six tiers, then there will be a vote in the VIP Forum and then another vote in a public forum for lower tiers who don't have the ability to see the VIP Forum. Way too much work. I wouldn't say for the admins at all considering the fact that it'll only take a few seconds to change the color in the Usergroup manager. I'd say too much work for everyone in general. Too much work and too much of a hassle. No thanks.

    Besides, I think pink should be included. You didn't include that, so this is even more reason for me to turn down this suggestion. Pink is clearly a superior color. One person's opinion would be different. This would turn out to be more of a hassle than I thought with just the decision process. One person may think that one color gears towards one sex while another person may not like it and want another color. One may want a color of a lower tier, despite donating for a higher tier position.

    I dont see the problem here. I mean these people donated. They deserver to get some better more flashy colours. Staff members have Orange Blue and Red. I mean theres wayyy more colours then that. Why not just give it to them and make everyone happy? Ive been to many forums, and they mostly have ALLOT of colours depending, Usually it goes like this :

    Mods = Green
    SMod = Dark Blue
    Admin = Red
    GFX Mod = Baby blue (powder blue w.e)
    Video Producer = Orange
    Donator = Pink
    Coder = Brown
    Retired Staff Members = Grey
    And then theres the section mods where they get Bold.

    Those are perfect colours, but since we have Tiers, then we should just add some more colours. Not a big deal. Ive been admin on a forum before, adding colours just takes 10mins of your time.

    It's already been decided for the reasons stated above. It'll get really confusing for the newer members because each supporter color would resemble the staff color.

    And the reason staff now have different colors is for members to easily differentiate between one another. Plus, they're bold. They're quite noticable, y'know.

    Also, I think that even this forum has too many colours :/ Especially the SMODs having BRIGHT YELLOW which does not look that good in my opinion. :/

    Not trying to troll you or anything, but yeah :/ And I have been to forums with many colours, tehparadox to be exact, and its damn annoying knowing who is who and what color is what.

    Hehe no trolling. Its okay, Its okay when you give out your opinion. But talking rudely that I dont like. Like I said, I probably dont get the respect here as much as ... some1 like you. Cuz I'm new and all, I get it. But hey its ok :D
