Suggestion: Different PC supporter tiers equals different colours...

I dont see the problem here. I mean these people donated. They deserver to get some better more flashy colours. Staff members have Orange Blue and Red. I mean theres wayyy more colours then that. Why not just give it to them and make everyone happy? Ive been to many forums, and they mostly have ALLOT of colours depending, Usually it goes like this :

Mods = Green
SMod = Dark Blue
Admin = Red
GFX Mod = Baby blue (powder blue w.e)
Video Producer = Orange
Donator = Pink
Coder = Brown
Retired Staff Members = Grey
And then theres the section mods where they get Bold.

Those are perfect colours, but since we have Tiers, then we should just add some more colours. Not a big deal. Ive been admin on a forum before, adding colours just takes 10mins of your time.

So what do regular mods do that section mods don't do? And what would we need a video producer and coder for? We're not a fansub group

The colors are fine the way they are. We just changed them from blue to purple last year, like, the day I supported. XD; They've had purple for a few years, so I think the staff will do the same with blue. They look fine to me, for now, but if staff decide to change the color, then awesome! :D But until then, just except the way it is now. Just accept the fact that we even get colored usernames.

Only thing that should happen is an alternative pink color for those who want it. Yes I'm still strung on that matter and I love it a lot.

Don't you realise how much you guys are already getting for donating? Supporters are meant to be supporting the PokeCommunity from the goodness of their hearts, and because they want to keep the forum running. If you donated for the perks, know that the admins don't think so. They're just offering these perks just so that they can get more people to support the forums. Seriously, soon, someone's going to come around and ask to be a moderator because he/she's donated.

Oh my god! Seriously! You can change the colour of your post text, much to my disdain, put whatever the hell you like as your avatar and signature...you do not need extra customisation for your username.

Different colours for tiers? No, I think you'll find the tiers are already differentiated by the ranking images underneath your user title. >=(

Even if this did go into some sort of consideration, nobody would agree which colour should be for which tier.

We vote 2 colours.. Let's say Blue and that Rose Pink colour I got on my birthday were picked.... Then supporters could pick which colour they want to use.. But they could only changes between the 2 every 3 months.. Kinda like a name changes but there are only 2 options... Then again there could be more colours to pick from.... Anyway....



I want the Tier 5 supporters to have that Rose Pink colour I got on my birthday.... I don't care what colours the others have..

Angela, pink isn't going to happen, so I don't know why you're even considering it. PINK WAS A ONE/TWO TIME ONLY THING. :( It makes me laugh that people still want colour changes, when realistically (like I realised), I know it won't happen.

Also, what if, all the tier ones (example) liked pink, you're technically being selfish for wanting it only for the tier fives.

What makes me wonder is why the staff haven't locked this, just saying straight out no, but I guess they like their daily PC laughter, or whatever.

Lol supporters. Did any of you donate because you actually want to support the community or was it for the sake of perks? I know there are members out there who wanted to give something back to the community they loved and fair play to them, but this greediness is really making the supporters as a whole look immature and fake.

Well I think the fact that it makes the supporters look bad is cause well people are supporting a lot more then before and some of these supporters are literally immature to understand its for a good cause and do it for the perks. Its sad really but what can we do. vote pink as an alternative color!

Aaaaaad not really sure why this was open so long. I think there was enough bickering in here alone to make me really not want to see bickering over a serious colour change. >>;

Anywho, since all sides have been explored and the initial idea rejected, I hereby close this thread.
