Once you beat the game and the delta episode blablabla. At the battle resort there are multiple hints to different events that may or probably may not happen. First off, there's Looker. We ALL KNOW that looker is always involved in a new mission. Other than handing you the Mega Stone, don't you think there might be another reason for him to be there? Cuz leaving him with amnesia is something that I don't believe is meant to be definite.

Second: There's this pretty much OBVIOUS hint about the battle frontier behind the Chateu(I don't need to mention what it is, right guys?) I looked up some stuff and I found some theories about what little miss Rayquaza tamer said about the different dimensions and that the opposite versions (OR for AS and AS for OR) are different dimensions and that ALSO a Delta Emerald would be a different dimension and that it could be a hint to that recreation too. OOOOOORRRR, a Pokemon co. surprise by giving us a DLC/patch for the BF.

Third: This is just a theory of mine though. You guys talked to the guy that says he is getting ready for the pokemon world championships right? I KNOW I KNOW, he probably refers to the real deal...but.............. What if thats a hint to either a patch or a new game? It would be cool if they made something like the Pokemon World Championship thing on the hack Light Platinum...

ANYYYYWAYYYYYSSSSS, what I'm asking is: Is there a possibility to DLCs/patches for all of these? are these hints for future games? or are they just gonna cliff hang us so bad that we might end up going to a cliff and hanging ourselves? (Maybe a bit exaggerated on that last part)

    To Be Continued...
(if the Pokemon Co. decides to)

ALL OF THE PUNS INTENDED XD

I'm hoping that Battle Frontier will be a patch, or it will be some sort of online thing where you can challenge other people.

That might just be a wish though :p

Yeah I'm seriously wondering why nothing else happens with Looker. It's kinda weird.

X/Y weren't patched for OR/AS so I don't see that happening and Game Freak has stated they wont do DLC, but that's still probably a bit more likely since I believe that particular comment was just for obtaining Pokemon only.

I think it's more likely that if they do anything else with Hoenn, we'll be getting Delta Emerald or some other game(s)...which I also don't see happening, but this is Game Freak and they seem to be all about doing the unexpected lately.

I honestly think that a DLC or patch might be possible though considering that the 3DS is capable of such. Also, I read somewhere that Smash bros recently got like a DLC or something on 3DS so that somehow supports the possibility of DLCs. Though its game freak we're talking about so it's up to them.

that would actually be pretty cool!! I'd suck at it but still XD

You my friend, thought the exact same as I did. Why add Looker if he has no importance other than a dumb mega stone for a really dumb pokemon (Audino)?

Wait, so Looker doesn't do anything except sit there with amnesia? That's pretty sad, I was really hoping there'd be more to it other than that. ):

But since XY never got DLC, I doubt these games will. Although as some have suggested, they may actually make Delta Emerald with some changes that weren't present in the original games.

    yup, thats Looker.

XY may have never gotten a DLC but to be honest, it didnt need one. ORAS has SO MUCH DLC potential though. plus, like RedJ said earlier, Gamefreak is full of surprises recently...

Lol that was the joke tho..... Who am I ?....Audino ( I dunno) lol

I'm gonna have to side with RedJ on this one. While I do think it's odd that the Looker doesn't do much, I don't think it means anything. Just like how the Battle Frontier "hint" behind the Chateu is not really a hint, it's just a nice Easter Egg for those of us that have played both Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald, since we know it was a new feature for Emerald and wasn't there in the originals. Like how it isn't there now.

Game Freak themselves have stated that they won't do DLC and a Delta Emerald game does not seem likely at all either, especially when the game already features the Delta Episode. I feel it was named like that specifically because they knew they were working on a Remake of Ruby and Sapphire and that fans were going to expect some form of Emerald remake, since it does feature Rayquaza more prominently and adds him to the story, whereas the originals did not, so as a remake they added the Delta Episode to fill in that "Emerald-Gap". And to already attribute the name to something, so that fans wouldn't expect a Delta Emerald later on, since the word Delta will already have been used for something in specific.

Also, Super Smash Bros. did not receive any DLC. All it got was a patch to fix some techniques people were using that weren't actually meant to be made along with some slight damage alterations. It's the same as when Pokémon has received patches, just fixes to some things not actual added content.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'd love to be proven wrong, I just find it highly unlikely is all.

That's not true, the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros is coming, it was a gift to anyone who registered both the 3ds and Wii U versions before some date in December

I did not say that Super Smash Bros. will not receive DLC, but that it hasn't received any. sCr45h said that he read that "Smash bros recently got like a DLC or something", and it hasn't.

Though you are definitely right about Mewtwo, and I did forget about it momentarily. You're wrong about the release date, though. He won't be coming out until Spring 2015. Unless you meant the deadline by which you can register both games, in which case you were also off, people have until March 31st to do so.

I keep saying this but no one will look it up, no, the 3DS is NOT capable of it because the 3Ds is physically incapable of rewriting data on a 3DS cartridge. It's not possible. No nintendo console has ever had the capability to rewrite the data on a cartridge (the save file, yes, but actual data on the cartridge itself, no.) if ORAS was solely digital, then yes, nintendo absolutely could simply rerelease updates that would add content in this way (like the apps that get updated on your phone) but since there are physical cartridges, the data on them would need to be rewritten and the 3DS was never built with the ability to overwrite data on the cartridge itself. and they're not going to release content for the digital downloaders, but leave the physical owners in the dust. And the game slows down during certain horde battles because it can't handle that many Roselia's (or whatever) on screen at the same time, do you really think the 3DS would be capable of reading data on the cartridge AND reading game data off the SD card and simultaneously merging the two together into a cogent playable product? no, it's pretty much one or the other. Heck, you can't even go into system settings without needing to close the game you're in, and every time you leave system settings, the whole thing now reboots (thanks to one of the latest updates) so no, they can't add all this game data to the game in the way you think they can anymore than your stock NES can overwrite the data of Duck Hunt to have you shooting monkeys swinging in trees and instead of a dog you have Nyan Cat holding up the dead monkeys by their neck

I never said we were getting Mewtwo in December, I said if you registered both versions of Smash brothers BY a date in December you get the Mewtwo. But upon looking it up, I was thinking about the soundtrack, Mewtwo you have until March to register both games apparently

Which is where my last two sentences come in, since I also clarified about that in case that's what you were talking about. [And also re-worded the sentence since the one you quoted may have come off as rude, which was definitely not my intention!]

But in any case, this is getting off-topic so let's just leave it at that. xD

I am definitely interested in what you had to say about the 3DS not being physically capable of re-writing the data on game cartridges. It makes complete sense, though it does make me wonder about how Mewtwo is gonna work, since they mentioned in his announcement trailer that the character wasn't completed yet, which means it shouldn't already be in the game.

Though, once again, off-topic. If that is actually the case and there is no way to re-write data onto the cartridge, which would make sense, then Battle Frontier does seem a lot less likely. [To those that thought/think it's possible, since I personally still don't think they were hinting at it at all.]

ROM = Read-Only Memory, meaning you can't write into it (basically what you said). But patches are loaded instead of ROM files, and DLC is additonal content. DLC is possible, but probably by adding a transporter NPC rather than any significant addition to the game. Although I believe that the game needs to be DLC-compatible. I have DLC for Fire Emblem Awakening and DLC is handled by a special location on the map. I don't think ORAS has such a feature.

Don't forget Fantasy Life has a DLC and it works with the catridge.

Sorry for the past tense :P I knew that there was something like that but not in detail.

So replying to the conversation previously held, I see and understand all your points. If we analyze all the facts, the chances of DLCs or patches are like finding a Shiny (1/8192). But still, the chances being slim doesn't mean it couldn't happen. We have all at least once found that 1 in 8192 pokemons. Maybe Gamefreak surprises us. Maybe not a DLC but in a random ORAS update we suddenly find Looker all better or maybe at least one of the BF facilities.
