Thanks to being a vegetarian I don't really into fastfood. Wouldn't mind if they opened a Maccy D's or a Subway at work though, paying for food in the canteen is awful and I regularly forget/cba to make stuff at home.

Vegetarian by culture, I can only presume your parents are old skool Hindu. I'd imagine that is actually pretty rare in America nowadays. I don't even think vegetarianism is the norm in India now.

Yea, they are. My grandparents were 'priests' in India so my mom was raised pretty strict. My dad wasn't, but, since we're considered a certain class (which doesn't condone eating meat) it's kind of carried on.
