Well, these recreations. I was a bigger fan of RBY's music than FRLG's. But, that said, the GBA wasn't a good time for remade music. But in general I'm a sucker for remade music, especially when the music was from the days of midis and .s files, leaves a lot of room for creativity

I like the gym remake and the Fortree one, though the latter's a lot less subdued than the original (which was almost calming), but I still like it. As long as they include something to play the original music as well, we'll be cool beans.

Yeah, but given that they're developing on the 3DS now which, as XY and Kid Icarus have shown, is completely unbounded by digital instruments and can use full-on orchestras (unlike the DS and prior), there really shouldn't be any need to hold on to the practices of past remakes. I think that they should get as creative as possible with the music, no need to hold back.

HG/SS had a GB Player

Let's hope ORAS has a GBA Player

plus, they wouldn't really have to recreate the songs, since HG/SS's songs had t be synced with the VS Bars

If you listen to GSC's champion theme at the same time as HG/SS's GB version, you'll notice that the pitch and speed is slightly faster/higher on the GB player version

I liked the HGSS tracks, certainly more than FRLG's (which, despite what I've been saying, aren't bad), but I think they could do more. I mean, there were some songs that sounded different- Goldenrod was a good example of this, but if I were to choose between GSC's muzack and HGSS', I'd pick GSC for pretty much every track. I'd love to see another remake of either GSC or RBY so that we could get a Champion track that really nails the intensity that the originals try to present.

If they resorted to orchestrated remixes of RS tracks, I would die, though. That would be the greatest thing ever. They have a lot of room for creativity with the 3DS and I plead them to take advantage of it. So I'm hopin'. I'm gonna keep on hopin'.
