Might as well, just jump in. I'm just laying down, looking at toons, and is absolutely terrified by a Spongebob Movie trailer, shown to me today, by a friend. :/

Can't say I've ever really watched or been a fan of Spongebob. I think I read that the film will be CGI, bet that hasn't gone down too well with the internet.

I don't like Spongebob, but for nostalgia sake, I was intrested in it. But I'm sure it will not go welll

There was an old spongebob movie that was pretty ok, but I don't know if spongebob carries the same weight as it did back then. I've never been that big of a fan of Spongebob so I don't know much.

Saw that when it was reported, pretty funny stuff. If they had done just a little research they could have made the report less laughable. I mean 1 search can bring up quite a lot of material far worse than than what they were talking about but still perfectly legal in most places.

Bebop, Great Teacher Onizuka or Oregairu from your already started pile.

Although I would recommend Touch or Maison Ikkoku even more. Not sure that you would have either downloaded, sequential downloading is a thing though so that shouldn't be too big a problem. Oh, if you liked the look of touch but aren't hardcore enough for a 101 episode series from the 80s then you could always go for Cross Game, not as perfect but it is half the length and much more recent.

Finished B Gata. It wasn't bad, and it serves as a pretty good teen drama. But...in terms of character relationships, it's lacking. People only really seem close because you're told they are, and no time is devoted to those relationships (or characters other than the two mains) ever developing. Pretty much expected of a 12 episode show, but it could have benefited from a longer run.

They were more focused on the themes rather than the characters, and they handled the themes well. They didn't put sex on some kind of pedestal, and despite their bravado, the two treated sex as a realistic thing when it came down to times where it might actually happen.

Apart from that, OK VA work and a great script, with openings and endings I didn't watch a single time. So yeah, not bad.

I search for DATE and Taniguchi-san stuff in there. Fun stuff.

Though probably things CNN would find depraved.

Knowing it's a 4Koma explains so much.

Yeah, I'll need to check it out. For now it's between two more Netflix shows: Welcome to the NHK (where I'm torn between subs and dub since the dub has some softened sounds) and .Hack//Quantum which...I think I hear is good?

And probably whatever else. Checking out random shows has proven to be pretty entertaining so far.
