I just didn't like Korra. Not the character but the show - I'm sure it's just my preferences because the most annoying part was where it was set and all the romance. I wanted a bunch of friends in ancient lands using magic, not a bunch of sweaty teens in a bastardization of a modern world trying to bone. Other people loved the setting and the romance I'm sure, especially younger people who are currently in the "sweaty teenager looking for someone to bone" stage.

That's another plus of season 3. People didn't like the emphasis on the love plot in 1 and thought it unnecessary in 2, so what do they do? They don't put any emphasis at all on it in 3 (though they do have some fun with it in a way that few people will complain about).

Pretty much everything about 3 was better than the others.
