I'm an elitist Narutard. Believe it.

I watch Naruto and Bleach and get the two main characters confused

"Oh, yeah, Naruto, he's the part-time Shinigami who never does his actual job, instead, he goes around saving the world for some obscure reason"

"Oh, yeah, Ichigo, he's that ninja who has no concept of the term stealth and keeps making a bigger mess out of everything"

Now that is a move that should have reappeared during the battle with rabbit milf. Think the last time he used it was vs Gaara.

If actual ninja wore all black, I can't imagine that'd be very stealthy either. Commoner's clothes sounds like a much better option.

Then again the myth of ninja wearing black comes from traditional theatre.

My point being, I can't think of any ninja in Naruto that actually dresses in a way that would make sense from the perspective of stealth. Though it appears they don't need it.

I guess it would depend on what they were doing. If they are sneaking into a building at night to murder somebody then dark clothes would be best. If they were playing a long term espionage type thing then of course, civilian clothes.

People that complain about Naruto wearing orange are missing the big picture. His character doesn't even fit the norm in that universe. A universe where breathing fire, summoning giant monsters and walking on water are regular occurrences.

Mini Lee wasn't confirmed for his, hope he tapped Tenten though. Maybe we'll know in February when those extra chapters come out with the final volume.

From a technical skill standpoint Naruto was playing on hard mode during his academy days, and up until he meets Jiraiya. No training at home like other kids. Teacher at school hates him. No friends to train with. Not to mention the most crippling thing, the fox seal fucking up his basic ninja magic control.

Spoiler:

Even with all that stuff In chapter 1 he uses a technique way above the level of his classmates, and most adults in the series, to beat a chuunin class opponent, in his first ever real fight. Obviously for laughs but he uses his own techniques to beat Iruka, Ebisu and the Third. He teaches Konohamaru life lessons that family and teachers couldn't. He managed to sneak up on and beat the best in his generation Sasuke in his most ninja like act in the series.
