Is Crunchyroll the enemy, now?

I don't mind 'em, much. A friend let's me and who knows how many other people use his account, so it's good for shows that aren't on my anime downloader, don't feel like waiting for, or have better resolutions.

And I skim their news highlights daily, since they're good for that. Didn't know they were the enemy of NEET society, though.

For basically my entire 4th and 5th grade I had to do Crunchyroll. Then I found out about torrents lel

Anyways, apparently Zankyou no Terror doesn't have a 1080p version right now. I guess it won't hurt to watch in 720p. Not HS or FFF's fault.

But yeah, AnimeTake though. Great site that compiles rips from the best groups around. Much better than roaming TPB, except I can't torrent entire series at a time.

Generally I just use my anime downloader. The download times are great, it surprisingly offers the best qualities, and there are even a lot of instances where I find Dual Audio.

Other than that I go with the Nyaa, or Crunchy for the reasons above. Though the best streaming site for anime (and a good one for downloading them ) I'd say is Kiss. Great quality and a great selection. And I'm a stickler for quality. Downloaded is inevitably better, but for a site that uses what I assume is Webm, the quality's pretty damn good.

Nyaa and Bakabt here. Crunchyroll is streaming, a lot of the good shows aren't on it and the userbase are gay.

Man, modern writers are so disappointing. Irene Adler always made out to be the generic femme fatale when she most certainly was not.

Looking at Crunchyroll now, I really hope it's possible to turn off the comments. I wouln't be able to resist the urge to scroll down to check them every video and while not YouTube level, they seem pretty annoying.
An irritating community slapped onto everything is painful. Crap like that was one of the reasons I abandoned Fakku.



...I'm actually not that biased against streaming though, at least if the site's nice, they have good taste in dubs, and the video quality is good.
After all a proper 720p-ish webm is still much better quality than DVDs.
 
Word to the wise - Keep it top comment only. Most everything else is crap.

Top comments can be crap, too, but they have a better chance of not being complete dung.

But yeah. Generally not a fan of comments on Youtube or Crunchyroll. I wouldn't say CR's are that bad, though; they're pretty tame.
