Just as you think this show is about to change to a more Zeta like tone.

This ends another UC Gundam series, bit of an underwhelming ending but still an enjoyable ride. Stuff like Bright randomly buggering off towards the end would have probably bothered me if I was in a picky mood but I'll just go with it, ZZ is ZZ.

Same. 08th Team was supposed to be the start of me going through Gundam series, but I kinda...didn't finish it.

The main reason for this was because Gundam games are great fun, I grew up with 'em, and generally they serve as great fanservice...and because of that, are easily more enjoyable if you know the gundam in question as well as the characters.

@Ante - backlogging just makes for demotivation and fatigue. The way I see it, it's better just to get to anime when you get to them.

I've never really cared about the mecha themselves, of course I've grown to like some more than others but that was never the draw for me.

If you want an OVA series as an in I would suggest 0080. It's precise in it's message and very well written. Undoubtedly my favourite Gundam thus far. That being said I probably enjoyed it more having just seen the original series, it was nice seeing something a bit more sentimental after all of the SPACE AUTISM.

I started UC Gundam at the beginning, 0079 has a lot going for it but it sure can be a bit of a slog fest in places. After that I've just followed it chronologically. Not sure what I'll do now, continue chronologically or go to release order. I hear Unicorn is quite a lot better than Victory and I have always been a believer in saving the best for last. That being said I might jump out of UC for a while and go for AGE or Turn A.

Picked AGE, the Gundam looks like it might be made out of Lego. lol
