Er, not really. I let people do what they want in the hopes that they'll let me do what I want. Dressing up to look like someone famous or acting like a band you love is okay so long as you're not following the icon on some sort of fanatical level.

However, I do dislike it when people try to act as if they're really cool and they end up making idiots out of themselves.

"What are you lookin' at?"

What do you think I'm looking at? Your face, obviously. We are making eye contact, after all. Those idiots annoy me immensely, yes.

To be frank, they piss me off.

They're trying to be someone they're not. It all comes down to no respect for themselves, really. If they really want to be someone, then make yourself someone.

And just to finish it off, it's just plain annoying to the people around them.

My 10000000000000000000 cents.

I... don't care in the least? :| If someone likes a certain style of clothing, who cares if they wear that and aren't fully "emo" or "punk"? I've never been one for labels (and probably couldn't identify most labels anyway) so I don't even notice when people are being posers. o_O There are more important things to worry about in life.

Hooray. ^_^ I wear stuff like Billabong, Quicksilver, and even some Tony Hawk stuff but I'm not much of a skater. I'd love to learn to surf, but being in upstate New York...makes that slightly difficult. Anyway, I don't wear the stuff to "fit in" I wear them because I like the clothing. The store Khols has a lot of Hawk stuff (most of which is subtle-printed on so I don't notice the brand until I've already bought it) and it's just cool clothing. Same goes for anything you find in Pacsun. It's just cool stuff. Posers not included.

Oh my goodness, I HATE POSERS!

Especially does Miley Montana or whatever the heck posers overpopulating Xanga. Ughh! -___-; A bunch of annoying 9 year olds.

What the hell is a poser? :<

I assume it means someone who's trying to be something they're not. Or is there another term..?

Quite frankly, I don't care about them, as long as they don't bug me about it and get on my nerves.

I really don't give a crap. I wear what I like to wear so other people should, too. I, personally, do not go for a label, but rather how something looks so I guess "posers" don't really jump out at me too often. I do notice some things, though. Like this girl at my college who wears kimonos and sailor fuku to school and she's a slightly overweight white girl. But hey... if she can be comfortable wearing it and endure the mocking then more power to her. I guess.

I guess you could call my brother one. He used to just wear whatever the hell he felt like and now he's trying to look skater punk when he can't even ride the skateboard he got for christmas two years ago. He isn't dedicated enough to learn.

I suppose that some people would consider me a 'poser', though I'm not really much of one... two words that bother me: poser and sellout. A person who enjoys a type of clothing, music, etc. without intentionally posing as something they're not. Same with sellout: a band can change their own sound throughout the years, and people will accuse them of 'selling out', which is complete bullcrap.

It kinda depends how you define the word "poser."

If you're talking people who try to change their lifestyle around by dressing/acting differently, then fine. However, if you mean someone who goes around pretending to be someone that they're not, and lying about who they are just for public approval, then yeah.

...It can get pretty annoying when they don't drop the act, even when you know they're lying about who they are =/

I think they are the funniest people on the planet.

Look at Emo Chin! Perfect example, and a fine specimen of fail also. It's a two-in-one.

... you have a very good point there.

I don't care about them either, as long they don't annoy me or anyone else(like my friends). No one should try to be of what they are not. Just be yourselves for once in your life.

But sometimes they are funny. XD
