    • Battle Frontier Doesnt have to but it is a nice accessory.
    • Pokémon that follow you! I loved following pokemon, especially the big ones haha
    • Increased difficulty meh
    • A coherent storyline Always nice but not too fast paced please
    • Super Training and Pokémon-Amie I would like it if they connected Pokemon amie and contest- atm they are both for happiness but they dont seem to influence each other.
    • Mini-games that aren't Pokémon-Amie (such as the missing-from-the-remakes Berry Blender mini-game) Oh yes I missed the berry blender
    • Pokémon that follow you around the field
    • Secret Bases I woul prefer an underground system again that was cool secret bases are tedious as it needs an own tm..
    • Headbutt yes but w/o tm needing
    • Day/Night/Seasons Yes all of it, seasons and day/night and: depending where the game is changing daylight hours
    • DexNav Yes I like it.
    • Pokétch can be integrated in the pokeapp thing
    • Game Corner most silly reason ever to remove, you dont use real money unlike some games on the web..
    • Exploring multiple regions not too many .
    • Forwards-compatibility — patching new Mega Evolutions or items into the game yes :)
I would like something like white tree hollow back too. somewhere to amass lots of exp. that said i want unovas exp system to return.

It seems like every time a new game comes out there's always some feature in it that's really loved and then they never implement it again. It's just so annoying. Why remove something that is really enjoyed by a lot of people?

Some of my favorite things were the follow me feature, trainer customization, dexnav, battle frontier and secret bases. If any of those should be in all games from now on it should be trainer customization. I can't think of too many people who didn't like that feature. It finally made you your own unique character in a way. That's truly a shame if it really was just a special thing for Kalos. The reasoning just kind of seems like a lame excuse.

As for things I don't really care about I would say the game corner, exploring multiple regions, headbutt, and seasons. The game corner was okay, but there were plenty of times I played through and never even went inside. I don't think a good game needs to have another region to explore as long as the region itself is entertaining. Headbutt is so forgettable to me I don't really care if I can headbutt trees or not though I do prefer over honey trees any day. The seasons feature really wasn't that fun. I kind of found it annoying that I couldn't get to certain places or get items during certain seasons. It annoyed me having to change the date back and forth so I could get everything I needed.

Everything else that was listed I don't mind to see though some could use improvements. I didn't think the poketch was that useful or cool and in fact it has an extremely ugly interface. So if it does come back it needs to be revamped badly imo. Super training and Amie are very boring after a while. I think they're great features I just wish there were more mini games to choose from.

Of the things present, I would be most entertained by an extra difficulty option (ala B2W2's Challenge Mode), the day/night feature, and possibly mini-games that aren't Amie. The DexNav was also a good enough feature, so if that returns i'd be down for it.

I think what I'd prefer to see would be new features not being taken out of games; it'd be nice if they kept adding new features to each instalment, but retaining all the old ones. There really isn't any reason for them to take them out, other than time constraints, and I would be quite happy to wait an extra year if it meant keeping them in. I suppose card capacity might be an issue as well, but in this day and age, patches and expansion packs exist, and there is no reason these can't be implemented in Pokemon games. We already have patches to fix bugs in the sixth generation; why not take that a step further and release patches with features added? Hell, even adding them as DLC would be better than not having them at all!

Pokemon might not be seen as so stale if they didn't keep releasing titles every year. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with their work ethic here - I loathe waiting longer than 2 years for new games; delays are highly frustrating and the hype quickly dies away - but if the extra time would be what it took for them to deliver more content, I'd be happy to wait for it. Each year we get a new Pokemon game and, whilst some new features are added, some of the cool old ones are taken out, and it's disappointing, as sometimes the new features really don't make up for the old ones that have been taken out. It doesn't feel like a new experience; it feels like the one that preceeded it, only with a couple of small features added in or taken out. The only really fresh experience from Pokemon these days comes from exploring a brand new region. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes I think they rush things a little and could make things much more interesting if they added more for us to do in the games, rather than taking out things we loved and then expecting us to love things they put in in their place, when they aren't necessarily as good.

I'd prefer it if they kept everything in. Not necessarily the regions - exploring every preceding region in every Pokemon game would be insane - but all those cool little optional extras, like trainer customization, the Battle Frontier, walking Pokemon, and so on. Build on the world and the experience, don't cut and paste parts of it out. The regions can have plenty of character if you put more time into telling the story and detailing the locations; gameplay features shouldn't define the region in my opinion.

    Let's see...

    • Battle Frontier - don't care, just give me some Battle Facility
    • Pokémon that follow you! - don't care; actually I'd rather have my Pokemon be part of the story instead of running mindlessly behind me all the time
    • Increased difficulty - I'd rather have a better balanced game
    • A coherent storyline - just a story that works in the context of the game; I don't want my Pokemon game to become a Final Fantasy jRPG
    • Super Training and Pokémon-Amie - always nice to have
    • Mini-games that aren't Pokémon-Amie (such as the missing-from-the-remakes Berry Blender mini-game) - if it fits into the game, yes
    • Secret Bases - always nice to have
    • Headbutt - a good way to give more Pokemon a good habitat instead of just putting them onto randomly dis-/appearing islands
    • Day/Night/Seasons - adds more immersion, always nice to have
    • DexNav - always nice to have
    • Game Corner - actually if done right, it could still be used (could be the place to go, when wanting to play mini games)
    • Exploring multiple regions - I'd rather have one well designed region instead of two or more mediocre
    • Open World - a giant region, thousands of NPCs with more dialoge than "Captain Obvious' Best of Mix"-CD content, readable books intead of uninteresting magazines without content, tons of sidequests, etc.
    • centralization of important places - kinda like the Battle Resort with the Facility, Day Care, IV Judge, etc.
    • Character customization - well I don't care too much, but it never hurts, doesn't it?
    • no HMs, Events - everything accessable without some privilege giving moves you're forced to teach your team and wifi events/serial codes (just make everything exploration reliant)
    • PSS - because communication and stuff
    • National Dex - why bother giving us the Regional Dex only, when we have stuff like GTS and Wonder Trade right from the beginning?
    • LTS - I like my game stable and I want to play it longer than just a year. Also screw Megas, we don't need more of these, there are already too many, anyway :P
    • and propably tons of other stuff that I just forgot

    • Battle Frontier Meh, i'm not a big fan of it. i find it anoying you have to do it to get the EV bands, i would love it if it was added in as items around the game.
    • Pokémon that follow you! again, i'm not a big fan of it. it felt more cumbersome to me than it was actualy helpful. it would be awesome if it meant extra XP or Happiness, but otherwise i dont care.
    • Increased difficulty more than that, a difficulty that adapts to the player. as in, the AI would get stronger and stronger as you show your strengths in the game. if there's a weaker player, then the game's AI would tone it down some. also wouldnt it be awesome if the game got your pokemon up to lvl100? it makes no sense why they have to be lvl 60, when there's 40 more levels to get, which would make the final battles more epic.
    • A coherent storyline yes yes yes yes yes. more than that, a storyline that's channeling empathy, which is something Pokemon normally lacks. you kinda get something out of games like X/Y and maybe Johto, but nothing comes close to the feelings in BW/BW2 or ORAS. it's ability to empathize with the main character/entertain the thought of morality is something we should have again.
    • Super Training and Pokémon-Amie yes, but more effective. i dont want to spend an hour getting maybe 30 ivs on a poke. it takes too long. make it more efficient and i'll do it again.
    • Mini-games that aren't Pokémon-Amie (such as the missing-from-the-remakes Berry Blender mini-game) i never liked the contests/berry blender/other stuff. it's bland and will get boring.
    • Secret Bases not realy, it's just another meta-mini game. ads nothing to it.
    • Headbutt if it's appropriate.
    • Day/Night/Seasons yes. of course. seasons definitely would be awesome. i liked the fact you could have changing areas, it made me want to change the calender come back to the game later on
    • DexNav if it's appropriate. only works for finding lucky eggs (which i think should become standard in game now)
    • Pokétech yes yes yes. i miss being able to check on the status on the daycare. made life easy.
    • Exploring multiple regions oh my god, if they made this a part of the plot, i would buy it in a heartbeat.
    • Forwards-compatibility — patching new Mega Evolutions or items into the game something Nintendo should have been doing from the start. since they can update games from the internet, couldn't they just add a patch to the game to prevent hackers from finding out about secret events/pokemon? i bet you they will do this for the next gen/3rd game in XY.
