Do you ever have a rule against using Legendaries on your in-game team, or do you use them but have a limit?

I generally don't like to use legendary Pokemon because by the time that I actually meet one, it's like my party is already trained well with EVs and these legendaries would often be weaker than my party at that point.

You do have the option to EV train with vitamins though, depending on the game really. Also, I like the fact that you EV train your Pokémon. Nice!
